Caught On Helmet Cam: US Releases Video Footage From SpecOps ISIS Prison Raid
Zero Hedge ^ | 25 Oct 2015 | Tyler Durden

It would have been bad enough for Washington if Moscow had simply intervened in Syria and left it to the media to speculate and report on the progress made by Iranian ground troops operating under the cover of Russian airstrikes. But subtlety isn’t really Putin’s style and besides, the conflict in Syria represents a once in a lifetime opportunity to lay bare the West’s deplorable strategy of funding and arming extremists on the way to destabilizing recalcitrant regimes.

...

We are of course not attempting to trivialize the death of Joshua Wheeler by writing this off as some kind of publicity stunt aimed at countering the Russian media blitz. In fact, the opposite is true. If the US is now set to ramp up the frequency with which the Pentagon puts American lives at stake by inserting spec ops in ground operations just so Washington can prove to the world that America is just as serious as Russia is about fighting ISIS, well then that's a crying shame for US servicemen; especially considering the role the US and its regional allies had in creating the groups that Delta Force and other units are now tasked with countering.

In any event, here's the helmet cam footage which we'll leave it to readers to analyze and critique.

I wonder if any ISIS people were killed? I have not seen any mention of that.

"The number of Islamic State militants killed was uncertain; reports ranged from six to 20. Five militants were captured, according to U.S. and Kurdish officials."

Hmm. Five captured, or five targeted for catch and release I wonder?

Hopefully they’re in Kurdish custody.

Wish they could have saved Ambassador Stevens and those three others when Hillary and Barry abandon them to the Muzzie terrorists in Benghazi.

That fits into the suggestion of the article that the reason the go-ahead was given (and so quickly) to join with the Kurds on this raid was that the Regime feels it needs to put out video on what we’re doing because of all the vid and pictures the Russians are showing the world. Since there was likely another reason our people in Benghazi were left there without proper security in a known dangerous location, the political reason to NOT rescue them overrode an entirely reasonable military response. It’s all politics and optics designed to benefit someone other than the American people.

When I see something like this it makes me think that the administration likes giving our soldiers away and compromising their security.

Now why would they do that?

The author’s premise is an interesting one: Putin is putting pics/vids out there about what a great job his Russian troops are doing after Barry’s failure to have any meaningful impact. So, Barry has to show what HIS military can do.

It’s always about Obama.

For the sake of diversity i hope gays, women, transgendered, and other oppressed minorities were part of the raid.

So, if an exit poll was taken and revealed that the prescribed diversity did not exist, will they need to return the hostages to the captors.............
