Hillary doesn't really expect her critics to believe her lies. And doesn't really care if they do or don't.

She sticks with her lies for at least two reasons:

1. No critic or prosecutor will have an admission by her that she lied or didn't tell the truth as she believed it at the time she told the lie.

   As the Clintons well know, it is a criminal offense to lie to law enforcement or to lie under oath.
   It is not a criminal offense to make an error in judgement or to believe the wrong thing as seen by your critics.

2. She gives her supporters their talking points - something to hang their hats on.
   A way to keep the True Believers believing.

Did you see the movie THE UNTOUCHABLES?

Al Capone had no problem committing crimes. He had no problem with his underlings committing crimes.

But Al Capone beat one of his underlings to death with a baseball bat in front of lots of people because the underling had committed a crime against him.

The Democrats have no problem with lying and thieving and killing if it benefits them.

But this Benghazi and Middle East stuff might affect them.

A nuclear weapon going off might kill them or their kin or their voters.

Now, that is important to them.
