Maybe there’s a great deal of cash associated with being a guest on one of these shows. Otherwise what possible reason would anyone, especially a putative Republican have for going on this show? Or any MSNBC show?

Proud is of course far from a household name among Republican strategists. I’m sure from her perspective appearing on Sharpton’s show is a plus. She can add an MSNBC appearance to her resume. True, to conservatives that’s nothing to brag about, but some clients could be impressed.
