Two members of the Turkish parliament gave a press conference this week saying that they have wiretapped recordings and other evidence showing that Turkey supplied the sarin used in Syria. As reported by Turkey’s largest newspapers, Today’s Zaman:

This is what a lot of us freepers have been saying sincee day 1. It would've made no sense for Assad to use chemical weapons. He was winning, and that provided an excuse for unfriendly govs to get officially involved.

The world would be a better place if a panel of freepers ran foreign policy. JMHO

In that article it states that the Syrian government and rebels used chemical weapons.

This is a Turkish news source and I don’t know the players in these matters well enough to know if political games are being played here or not.

Of course the U. N. has jumped in, and Seymor Hirsh has chimed in as well.

Are these people on our side, or generally 180 degrees off our side?

Do I trust this information? I’d have to say this is a file it away bit of information, maybe spot on and maybe not.
