She was one of the Greatest Actresses ever, and one that no matter what the movie, if it starred her, you knew you were going to see it.

I admit I’m not in tune with popular culture that much, but, in any case, can’t think of any actor or actress today, about whom I can say, I want to go see that movie just because they are in it.

I just can’t think of any. Tom Hanks, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston, Demi Moore, Tom Cruise, Matt Damon?? None of these would motivate me to go see the movie just because they are in it.

RIP. In 1991 Maureen O’Hara came out of retirement and was in “Only the Lonely” co-starring with John Candy. That movie is a great comedy. Maureen O’Hara had the funniest lines in the movie. She played the part of John Candy’s character’s mother. She was not pleased with her Irish American son going out with an Italian American woman. She considered it to be an inter-racial relationship. Great move. I will always miss Maureen O’Hara and John Candy.

Yep you are probably right.

They are pushing the idea that there are no differences between men and women.

And then somebody like Bruce Jenner comes along, and gets so much attention for blurring the lines between male and female by his actions in life.

Not to mention, Facebook recognizes something like 56 different gender identities.

Can anyone name all 56?? I can think of a handful — straight male, straight female, homosexual male, homosexual female, the “bi-sexual” peoples.

Geez, send me to reeducation camp right now, since I’m about 50 short of being “with it” with all the bending of sex and gender nowadays by these liberals.

in the original Parent Trap, she truly made the movie magical. She was a good comic actress.....

I have not and won't see the newer version of the Parent Trap....how could it ever be better without Maureen.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0102598/ Don’t overlook this 1991 movie. Maureen O’Hara saved some of her best work for this movie.

She was one of the classiest women in showbiz. And I always enjoyed the chemistry between her and John Wayne.
RIP, beautiful lady and condolences to her family.

Maureen O'Hara Interview

One of her last interviews I think.

I watch the original Miracle On 34th Street every Christmas Eve followed by the Alistair Sim version of A Christmas Carol.

Bradley Cooper is getting that way for me. I've enjoyed every single movie I've seen him in. It seems like a lot lately... although it's hard to tell for me since I rarely go to the theater. I'm more likely to rent a DVD or buy a bootleg.

Ms O'Hara was definitely on the list. I saw her in a Hallmark movie not that long ago, and she was wonderful.
