Evangelical Leader Calls Trump’s Christian Backers Unchristian {and Lies about Jesus's Birth}
dailycaller.com ^ | 10/24/15 | Evan Gahr

One of the country’s most influential Christian Right leaders says the support Donald Trump enjoys among evangelicals is limited to worshipers of false idols.

Russell Moore, president of the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention, is disputing conventional wisdom that Trump is hugely popular with born again Christians, insisting those actually in his camp follow the “dangerous false teaching of the prosperity gospel.”

//“dangerous false teaching of the prosperity gospel.”//

Then Moore has no clue what the Prosperity gospel really is. The WOF movement or ‘blab it and grab it’ is the opposite of what Trump stands for. Trump believes in hard work to be sucessful - prosperity gospel teaches the heresy that God wants us to be wealthy and we don’t have to work just speak it. The WOF makes God having to comply with our demands.

///It’s certain the Preachers are advocating heartily for Carson. //

And most of them haven’t done their research into the SDA or like this guy don’t know basic theology.

You’re right.

I should insinuate all or even most Baptists are of the same mindset. Same with Catholics, as you point out.

//he is certainly correct to say that Trump is not the favorite among Christian conservatives.//

He is among all the Conservative Christians I know. None of whom are falling for Carson and many who like Cruz as a second choice.

//By their fruits ye shall know them./

Don’t twist scripture or take it out of context (which is probably why you are pro illegal).

Jesus is talking about false prophets, not the fruits of believers. Fail.

WE HAVE A WINNER FOLKS!!!!!

“I’d be more comfortable as a Christian supporting Donald Trump than as a Christian supporting Mike Huckabee. Trump speaks merely as a lay person. Huckabee, as governor who postured as a former minister, released prisoners from jail that killed people upon release.”

And, in assessing that statement, I’ll guess you are now a “Lutheran”?

I do find it odd that some of Carson's supporters don't seem bothered that his religion excludes them from heaven since they are not part of the 144,000 elect of Seventh Day Adventism.

And since the SDA's don't celebrate December 25th, I think I'll go with Merry Christmas lover, Donald Trump.

Sounds like a first class wack job. Hope he doesn’t speak for most southern Christians, or, once again, the right will rip itself apart in a “purity” battle. Pick the most conservative with the best chance to win and now that is Trump. Carson is too nice and inexperienced to beat Hellery.

I like Trump and most certainly do not follow the prosperity gospel. I wish people would just speak for themselves and not others.

America has millions of Baptists. Most of the ones I know and have known are wonderful Christians. What do you mean about “true colors”?

Yes! And find out where they live so that when the Islamic “refugees” arrive they can take them all to where their flock is located.

Since they seem so willing and all to “help”.

That way us heretics don't have become violent sinners.

Those who ignore the Lord’s admonition, “My kingdom is not of this world” are pretend Christians.

What you said a thousand times over!

As an active member of an evangelical church, it drives me crazy when people confuse and conflate those jobs. No one would want to be operated on by an incompetent surgeon just because the guy could quote scripture.

We are called to be as innocent as doves, but also as clever as serpents. Sometimes I think folks forget the second part.

God bless!

Who is this guy. We listen to him and in a few years we will be a caliphate. Trump has many of the characteristics you look for in Christian leadership...boldness...courage...wisdom...a desire to see good triumph over evil..kindness...compassion...he is a good father and administers his household well...honesty...concern for the poor and less fortunate...tolerates media fools and charlatans better than any of us can...the list goes on and on. Remember Pontious Pilate wanted to set Jesus free, it was the religious/political leaders that got him crucified. Too many of today's leaders, be they religious, political or business seem to think Jesus said, "Fleece my sheep." John 21:17. Seems to me Trump got the original version "Feed my sheep."

The 144000 and no holidays are JW’s not SDA. However, SDAs are similar to JWs and Mormons in that they believe their prophet (EG White) restored ‘true’ Christianity. You must confess EG White restored the ‘true church’ in order to be baptized SDA. They do not accept baptism from other faiths. They are very controlling (look up the BITE Model by Hassan).

They also believe that anyone who worships on Sunday has the mark of the beast for starters.

Russel Moore is a false prophet and a lying dog liberal from hell like the left wing is in going to be for their hatred of and refusal of forgiveness by God’s anointed one, Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.
