Heres the reality, Mamasitas: if you have a dependent, squeally male with your last name who wont get his crap together and be a provider, protector, hunter and hero, when your husband is pushing him to be a man, then you might ought help by not breast feeding him til hes frickin thirty. Its simple, folks: If you have a wuss in the house then someone raised that wuss and dont look at me, senorita. I didnt do it. Look in the mirror, lady, because we didnt raise your mangina son.
Warrior and warfare expert Steve Pressfield, whos written extensively on
duh
warrior cultures, in particular, Spartans and Sparta, placed a massive emphasis on moms in his book, The Warrior Ethos. Pressfield presses home the important role of mothers in making men out of their sons. It wasnt just a Sparta dude thing, it was something also that the moms embraced and rejoiced in, namely, their boys morphing into a warrior who could kick some ass and contribute to the betterment of their nation rather than suck off it like a giant suck locust. Matter of fact, it was a shame to a Spartan woman if her boy or boys did not have this warrior spirit.

I’m too tired to post the “pajama boy” picture. I’m sure some other Freeper will do it. :p
Is there any particular reason you appear to be doing nothing more than attempting to direct traffic over to the clashdaily website? Are they paying you or something?

| "I am an American fighting man. I serve in the forces guarding our country and our way of life. I am prepared to give my life in their defense." |
If you’re a Democrat, you just might be raising a wussy.
I shill for no one, I am only focused on information relevant to the principles and ideals Jim Robinson had in mind when he formed this site...
In my style of working I comb through many informational research links I maintain to get a broad perspective rather than a narrow focus, it gives me perspective and allows me to validate it as best I can before bringing it back here to all my fellow Freepers...
I sweep broad and deep looking for Truth, your question is just fine :<))
I never hit my kids, but they never got participation trophies.
And I didn’t have to tell them why. They found the idea degrading.
Both my sons are unhappy that I still contribute to their college tuition.
So he is in favor of homosexuality, murder of those who are prohibited from fighting back and infanticide?
Sorry but the "Spartan Warrior Culture" was at least as sick and self destructive as anything promoted today.
My Mother raised 3 boys and 2 girls. She was the most kind, gentle, loving and tender Mother one could imagine. She also insisted that we do right and would use the switch when she had to. I could tell she didn’t really like to switch us but she had rather do it than raise a bad kid.
Daddy was much firmer than Mother and he gave much more brutal switching but he too loved us and like Mother, he insisted that we do what was right and if we didn’t there was a price to pay.
My Sisters grew up to be just like their Mother. Us 3 boys grew up to be tough characters but we still kept our kindness and love. My older Brother in particular was about as tough as they come. He averaged 11.7 yards per carry as a senior left halfback. I saw him in two fights. In both of them he landed a single blow and knocked the other guy out. That was all there was to the fight.
My mother somehow knew, early on, what my potential was. She always pushed me to reach it, but then loved me no matter what.
Best book is “Dare to Discipline.”
They’re unhappy that you contribute to their college tuition?
dunno what’s worse, wuss or macho
Macho was a positive trait before the
war on masculinity was launched. Wuss, never.
Rugged Individualist is what I prefer...
Yes. They would like to be independent. But they already contribute more than I do, and I don’t want them working more than they,do. As it is, my younger guy stayed at school this summer and took extra classes. He got the school to pay him a small stipend for taking the class, and he worked three jobs to pay for rent and groceries. So, they do enough. I’m their dad, I should pitch in.
This goes for raising girls to be true women, too. Raising functional sane adults is missing.
