FACTOID: in 2008, the Register endorsed Hillary
in the Democratic caucuses.

Trump does his "Oh Noes" imitation.

Can't wait for the next campaign rally.

Iowa is a pretty state and there are some real salt of the earth people there but as far as the electorate goes it’s not Red and Blue. It’s more Cobalt and Purple.

Silly Iowans. The leftists seems to have influenced their choice. Everything anti-Trump will be coming from the Left in the days to come...a lot of molehills are going to be changed to mountains in due course...

This is why our presidential selection process is so FUBAR.

Iowa and Red Hampshire.

For better or worse - these two insignificant states have a major influence on who will be the prez in January of 2017.

All the polls and debates leading up to Iowa and Red Hampshire, and all the primaries AFTER are all tied to these two states.

It sucks, but it is what it is.

This is hilarious. Dr. Ben is the new weapon being used by the establishment to take Trump down. They know that if they're successful in that it will then be child's play to destroy Carson and pave a path for Jebbie.

Won't work.

The problem with being polarizing within your own party, is that you end up alienating the other pole. That’s why traditionally, the most boring candidate wins the nomination, because he hasn’t alienated anyone so the party coalesces around him.

If Trump wins the GOP nomination we can expect him to take about 25% of the vote in the general election. The rest will be split between Hillary and a third party candidate.

Of course if Trump does NOT win the GOP nomination, I would expect HIS supporters to abandon the GOP as well and vote for a third party candidate probably Trump himself.

Either way, Hillary Clinton wins the White House.

Would it be a propos to point out that the winner of the Iowa caucuses pretty much never goes on to win the nomination?

Trump is firming up his base in the rest of America. He is employing strategy. Iowa may be first but does not have the last word in Presidential politics, its a small skirmish at best and caucuses can be easily rigged.

Right...LOL....the GOPee want’s Carson to take Iowa and they have put a lot of money in there to do just that...they are using Carson just the same as they used the rest of them to go up against Trump and it won’t work, it hasn’t worked and it will not work....

They can spend all their money to beat Trump, but Trump has friends with more money than the GOPee could ever wish for...and Trump didn’t get to where he is by not being aware of what is going on....

If Carson thinks he’s something special, he is, he just got used as another GOPee puppet!!!!

Iowans and their torrid love affair with corn.

WHY WHY WHY do we allow this state full of goofy corndogs such a pivotal role in our presidential politics?

Carson might have studied the strategies President Huckabee and President Santorum used to win Iowa.

The winner in 2012 certainly of that question would have been Romney. He didn’t take the hint.

Any front-runner who doesn’t have a majority is at risk of being identified this way.

Does Carson have any kind of ground game in Iowa. From what I have been reading, Trump has a very active campaign staff in Iowa lining up caucus supporters. I have not heard one thing about Carson and his Iowa ground game. In other words the Poll may have little value.
