BERLIN With Israelis and Palestinians caught in another widening cycle of bloodshed, Secretary of State John Kerry met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel in Berlin on Thursday and urged him to tone down the harsh language that American and European officials believe is fueling the violence.
The message delivered on Thursday to Mr. Netanyahu, who claimed this week that a Muslim cleric had inspired the Holocaust, will be repeated in the coming days when Mr. Kerry meets the president of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas, whose own comments Mr. Netanyahu and others have blamed for provoking attacks.
Mr. Kerry sounded a positive note after his meeting with Mr. Netanyanu, saying that their conversation gave him a cautious measure of optimism, Reuters reported. He added that the talks gave him hope that there may be a way to defuse the situation and begin to find a way forward.
At the center of the crisis is a long-running dispute over Israels management of an Old City holy site, known as the Temple Mount to Jews and the Noble Sanctuary to Muslims, and the countrys recent efforts to limit access to the area by young men who it says are instigating violence.

Bibi must ave the patience of a Saint.
meeting with John John Kerry? PLEASE....
NUKE PALESTINE NOW!!!
that Kerry will be able to position Netanyahu so Obama can stab him in the back.
The Netman sees them clear as day...
They (Bozo and Little Johnny) are like a kid playing hide and seek while wearing a Neon costume honking a bicycle horn to draw attention to themselves...
They are far beyond conceited, they are convinced that they are right and the world just needs time and “coaching” to come over to their side and way of thinking...
Sure Bark, the check is in the uhhhhh...mail
No not a Male, get your mind out of the Gutter Barky!!
Johnny's a hero! He shot more videos than VC!
He is a deal maker, and a great one at that, so he would listen to both sides, then tell them both what was going to happen...keeping Israel as our allay and telling the Palestinians that if they kept it up, they would be bombed to kingdom come...and if they didn't listen, there would be on more Palestinians....
Now how hard is that? The Palestine people don't belong there, they belong to Egypt...why aren't they there? because Egypt doesn't want them either...
"coaching"...
Kerry is cautiously optimistic that a “final solution” can be reached...
Of course, we are just children and lucky to be shaded by their mighty shadows...
And when we disobey there are consequences...
They are excluded as their judgement, although not perfect, is never wrong...
Playing God...
Looking at the photos from this meeting did not make me ‘cautiously optimistic’. They made me decidedly worried. Kerry is simply stupid. A cretin. An oblivious, animated pile of stupid meat. Just like he always does. Bibi looks worried. Bibi looks like a man existentially worried. As he has never appeared before.
The only world leader who is not aloof from or overtly hostile towards Netanyahu right now appears to be Putin, but their relationship at best resembles detente and has the wild card of Iran in the mix. China is making soft neutral noises. That appears to be it. A handful of maybe neutrals, set against the official hostility and undermining intermeddling or subversion by the rest of the Middle East, the EU, and the United States at official levels. Israel stands alone in the world. Right now. Today.
This is indeed a time to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Go and look at the photos of Bibi Netanyahu, from the time he excoriated a silently mocking UN, to this dog and pony show of quisling Kerry’s.
Time to call down some Psalm 1.
