Awesome post, this has been going on for a looooong time. Progressives became infatuated with the Monarchical model with a different outfit so they could corral all us rubes into a manageable workforce to do their bidding...
Just as in the Russian Revolution, all the “high ideals” melt away as somebody has to run the thing...
Of course it is them as they are “smarter” (more devious actually)
And the leaders of the movement became the dictators of the future, and millions of Russians died playing out their “planning”
I believe in their fevered Ego saturated minds they feel like they will do it RIGHT this time

Furthermore, what was said between Putin and Obama during their 90+ minute meeting at the U.N. 9/28/15.......Probably something that Obama couldn't refuse....WWIII or Alaska....
The problem back then was that Communists were in fact infiltrating various key agencies of the government.
The problem today is that Communists now occupy the highest levels of government including the current POTUS.
