Vice President Biden announced Wednesday that he will not run for president, ending months of feverish speculation over his 2016 plans and likely settling the Democratic field.
Speaking in the Rose Garden alongside his wife Jill and President Obama, Biden said the window of opportunity to mount a viable campaign "has closed." He has been weighing a decision since summer, but cautioned all along that he and his family were grieving over the loss of his son Beau Biden -- and said Wednesday he knew that process could outlast the window for making a decision.
"Unfortunately I believe we're out of time, the time necessary to mount a winning campaign for the nomination," Biden said.

Maybe the Dems have a "savior" already lined up to save the day if the witch goes down and Joe is just getting out of the way.
Now we know the Obama Justice Department will not prosecute Clinton when the FBI finishes their investigation.

Hillary is having a good week. She has gotten rid of Jim Webb and Joe Biden in the Democrat so called primary. It has evolved into a Coronation Pageant with Bernie Sanders playing the Court Jester. She will be nominated unopposed.
I have concluded that Hillary’s plan to become President without having to face the voters or even win a contest where the voters can express their desires for the country’s future includes the Republican contest as well. Trump is a product of Hillary’s cunning scheme. He may not even be aware of what she has done, but that doesn’t matter. She has arranged to cast the Republican primary process into a hopeless morass that will produce a nominee who cannot beat Hillary. Even if Trump were to win, she will be ready with an arsenal of attack that will turn Trump into the Hindenburg.
Welp, then we can stop hoping for a Hillary indictment. With no alternative candidate the Obama DoJ will never let her get charged.
I think another reason may be that Old Joe was waiting to see if Trump is really viable on the other side. I suspect Joe wants no part of Trump’s tell-it-like-it-is attitude and bullishness.

Why was a Vice President’s announcement not to run delivered from the White House?
Why was Obama even there? Hovering. Help me Joe!
Why was the content an obvious defense of the Obama presidency? And an overdone plea for more time to do so much more good?
There was no endorsement of Hillary, why was it all about Obama?
Is there something coming out that Obama is aware of that we’re not yet aware of?

Actually would not be surprised to see Hillary drop out, Sanders to withdraw for “health reasons” and Kerry drafted by desperate Democrats.
