In the UK, handlers with dogs who sniff out explosives in settings like airports, railways stations, and bus terminals have been taught to tread lightly and be aware of “cultural sensitivities.” That, of course, is code for don’t offend Muslims. Also in the UK, police dogs must wear special booties when entering Muslim homes so as not to offend. In addition, Muslim prisoners are given fresh sheets and clothes after dogs search their cells. The dogs are also not allowed to have any direct contact with prisoners’ Qurans.

Okay, they don't like bacon or dogs? That's it. I've had enough now. Have you ever seen this much kowtowing to anybody? Guess head choppin' and gay tossin' off roof tops is okay? Or gang rape is "just a cultural thing" and not our business?

No wonder so many are twisted. They never had a pet dog.

There’s a dog in my yard.
There’s a Muslim in my yard.
Which one to kick out?
Dilemmas, dilemmas............

Mohammed hated dogs because they protected the caravans he robbed.

After my husbands heart bypass surgery, he had a Muslim home health nurse come to our house for several weeks to check his incisions. We have 4 dogs, 2sleep on our bed and 2 sleep on the floor in their dog beds.

I knew I should keep the dogs away from her. She really seemed to be afraid. Finally by the time she finished with him I insisted she pet a dog.

I asked her repeatedly what was her aversion to dogs and I never got an answer.

My dog Hairy is a therapy dog and we go to hospitals and convalescent homes. Occasionally there will be an African woman working there. They hate dogs too. She always says “ people good, dogs bad” .

Hatred/fear of dogs is so ingrained in these people that it is pretty hopeless to change their minds.

Y’know, pigs have a very keen sense of smell, too.

Oh, wait...

I can sympathize with their fear, but not their hatred of dogs. I love dogs, but I’m afraid of them.

Pigs have a better sense of smell and can be trained to do the same work.

Thanks for posting this! It's very helpful and instructional.

I was taught to be open-minded and to embrace diversity and I've done my best with regards to learning about islam and moslems/muslims.

So now, in addition to the squirt gun full of holy water by the front door for the Jehovah's Witnesses, Jesus in my heart and my two dogs for everything else that knocks or doesn't, I also know it's a good idea to fry bacon a few times a week or more to ward off islam and other evil and/or insane spirits.

Seems to be working well so far...

This policy is fine with me, I would not let my dogs have contact with them or new shots and a good scrubbing would be in order.

I had one Pakistani explain this aversion to dogs to me. He said that dogs were a mixture of Satan’s belly button lint and spit. He said a different story had dogs created by Satan spitting into the clay God had used to make man. No fooling.

This hatred of dogs doesn’t apply to muslim tribes who have traditionally used them for hunting and herding. That’s why we have such great breeds as Salukis and Afghan Hounds.

LOL! I needed a good snorkel!

Don’t forget the flea and tick repellent...these folks are awful buggy.

In more ways than one.

I have a dog that is very friendly to everyone. One day I was walking him on a trail and he was happily greeting everyone we met. Then two bearded men wearing those pajama/robe looking things that muslims wear walked by. The look on their faces was pure hatred. My dog shied away from them. He knew. That was the only time I saw him refuse to greet someone.

Dogs are offensive. [to muzzies]

Yes, because dogs are clean of spirit.

Muzzies are filthy-spirited. Sewage-spirited. Sht-spirited.

I can understand too. Any traumatic event can leave you with a fear of something.

I never liked snakes but after we bought a piece of property on a creek that had never been cleared before I learned to hate them. We had small children and before they went out side to play I had to check the whole area for snakes. Copperheads mostly but also water moccasins and coral snakes.
I found one or 2 several times a week for years.

Because of my diligence my children were never bitten but I wasn't able to save all of my dogs.
