A viral photo of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is making its way across social media, quoting the real estate mogul as saying that if he runs for president one day, he’ll run as a Republican presidential candidate because Republican voters “are dumb.” Yet, the meme has been proven false.

Snopes reports that the alleged quote supposedly happened during a 1998 interview between Trump and People magazine. The meme, created anonymously, quotes Trump as saying the following.

Forgotston is someone who is intimately connected with the goings-on in Baton Rouge and the state government. Fox News came out (from Dallas) some months ago and interviewed him extensively about Jindal.

Jindal goes on Hannity and everywhere else and claims he cut twenty-three percent or so from the state budget. The lie is in the fact that the hurricane money, one time money from the federal government had been factored in previously, and when the money was gone, that was it. Jindal did not cut spending at all. That is just one of his whoppers.

He inherited a billion dollar surplus from the previous governor when he came in. He leaves in about three months with a deficit of 1.6 billion dollars and climbing. He has monkeyed with the budget the whole time he has been in office.

As for narcissism, Jindal broke the mold. Whatever he says about Trump is basically his own profile.

You should be more concerned about “HTHF”.....”Herr Trump’s Hilterite Followers.

Argumentum ad Nazium. When you try to play this card instead of factually and reasonably addressing the issue, you automatically lose the argument.

“True, but Trump jumped the shark with the W comment.

It was foolish and unnecessary and could hurt him.’

Do you happen to remember Bush’s poll numbers? I don’t think he has become sacrosanct just yet.

Not always, for example PP abortions for baby parts, the comparison to the mentality at the Nazi prison camps is extremely valid.

Yeah, these GOPe-bots who pretend to be pro-Cruz are trying to harm both Trump and Cruz at the same time.

Very good point. That is one reason the Nazi analogy should not be over used. It robs it of power when you run into a real Nazi style operation like PP

Oh, just like Hitler promised to make Germany great again?

So, you think Hitler inspired Trump to use the "Make American Great Again" campaign slogan? You must really enjoy public displays of ignorance. Trump did borrow the phrase from an earlier politician, but not from any German.

It’s all about perception. Like W or despise him...a lot of Republican voters (especially over 50) feel deference to ex Pres Bush and the statement will alienate them.

They will perceive it as over the top and it was not something that was needed to be said or will help him.

oh lets play all sorts of nonsensical subjective games shall we?

you can read all of what jindal nailed THUMP with if you have the courage..and you’d care to take the time and the effort .

What Jindal said was undeniable and frankly inescapable.

...”a lot of Republican voters (especially over 50) feel deference to ex Pres Bush and the statement will alienate them.”

I’m 50 and I still don’t think he said anything wrong or something that is not a fact. Just like everything else he has said thus far, those that don’t like him are looking for something, anything, to take him down. This comment won’t do it either. It will again be evident what is happening and strengthen him even more because he knows what he is doing and doesn’t play by the usual rules.

Keep shouting “Heil Trump” until you are hoarse and have to eat those words someday.
==============================================================By the looks of your posts, it is evident you are shouting. And the volume of vitriol (quantity this time, see what I did there?) you’re spitting out you appear to be very, very, angry.

My 80 year old parents loved Reagan and were sorry they voted for Bush. They though Bushes were war mongers.

Dad gave to every wounded vet charity that solicited him for donations. That is how bad he felt about the Bush wars.

OOOOOO maybe you can tell me what I need to do for that as well! After all, you have done such a massive job of convincing people here about Trump, tho I don’t remember your candidate.

SO what is this “shctik” you speak of? Can I but it at Woolworths?
