A viral photo of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is making its way across social media, quoting the real estate mogul as saying that if he runs for president one day, hell run as a Republican presidential candidate because Republican voters are dumb. Yet, the meme has been proven false.
Snopes reports that the alleged quote supposedly happened during a 1998 interview between Trump and People magazine. The meme, created anonymously, quotes Trump as saying the following.
(Excerpt) Read more at inquisitr.com ...
Trump’s charitable giving to our Vets is a sign not of narcisism, but of gratitude and humility.
Given this feature of his past, it’s a good indicator of how he’ll take care of our heros in the near future when he is president.
That is far from narcisism.
What's the conservative position on enforcing our borders and enforcing all immigration laws?
And what's the conservative position on trade agreements that have sent thousands of US factories and millions of jobs to cheap labor nations over the past twenty or thirty years?
What's the conservative position on TPA and the TPP agreement that will be before Congress early next year?
Actually, he’s not wrong. If the interview was in 1998, we were dumb. We nominated Do!e in 96. Then we went w/ McCain and then Romney. Tell me where he was wrong.
So cute you believe that Damn, now my mind is made up, THIS response was the straw that broke my beliefs! YOU are a master among boys such insight, such wisdom .I I I .I cannot believe how Ive been deceived (if I have been at all)
Thank you Obi Mikey! You are all knowing, with each I think, I suspect, I believe ..You have corrected my path down the one YOU travel down, now what should I have for dinner?
“So if you want to call us mindless followers in a cult of personality, so be it.”
Good, because you are and I will.
“Now what should we call you?”
A real conservative. A sane, rational thinker that isn’t fooled by a meaningless noise called Donald Trump.
Actually, Trump is not “meaningless”, he is dangerous. Anyone that is so unqualified in anyway imaginable, but is still followed like some “messiah” by so many is dangerous. I am not joking when I compare the way people follow him to how Hitler’s followers did.
Anyway, when you finish getting hoarse screaming “Heil Trump” and hopefully return to reality.....
Donald Trump is making its way across social media, quoting the real estate mogul as saying that if he runs for president one day, hell run as a Republican presidential candidate because Republican voters are dumb. Yet, the meme has been proven false.
Herr Donnie Trumpeter may not have said that, but the premise that republicans are dumb is proving to be somewhat true. A great many republicans are - in a cult of personality - fanatically supporting Herr Trump. So, it must be true that republicans are dumb because only the really dumb, deluded, or naïve would support this dangerous man. They get together in crowds and shout sieg heil and heil Trump like their Nazi counterparts of the 1930s.
If anyone takes exception to this...too bad. Im just using the same type of rhetoric and tactics that Herr Donnie Trumpeter uses. IF you think it is acceptable for him, then you have to let others have the same latitude. At least for now, this is still a constitutional republic with freedom of speech. If Herr Trump can be obnoxious, then others can as well.
Good people, there are other choices on the GOP ticket that are better than Trump. Trump IS NOT a conservative.
The sophistry I read here about Trump being the only one that can win is scary. You may as well be screaming sieg heil (hail victory?) Trump being president...even IF he could win in a general election...is NOT a real victory.
Jeb, is that you?
Lol...don’t think Cruz is in any kind of a position to do that.-
So in essence Jindal thinks of Trump what the left thinks of Americans.
Go and replace Trump with Americans in that quote and you get the same stuff foreigners say about us.
Sola, do you really want to go there?
You don’t want to make America great again?
Again, what did Trump say that was wrong about W? Factually, nothing. It may make us wince, but I submit because we’ve been conditioned to do so. Just like the comment about McCain. It was factually true. We claim we’ve been lied to for years, and now we have a candidate that speaks unvarinshed truth, and we complain. He’s right. We are stupid.
No, he wants the status quo, for his GOPe masters.
Like a typical liberal, ad hominem attacks are all he’s got.
And yes Solas, I’m calling you a liberal.
No.
I saw him this morning on Fox News Sunday. Never mentioned it. He talked about getting the country going again, he talked about how the country is being mis-managed and is on the decline. He said it doesn’t have to be so. Why does that offend you?
He does have to respond to catty, baiting questions.
Debate #1: first question: why did you call so-and-so fat?
Debate #2: first question: can you be trusted with nuclear weapons?
Is that the kind of question anyone else gets? If we were all in a public meeting and I have the floor exclusively and I ask you, seriously and intensely, “Did you drive drunk last night?”
Consider that no one nobody knows anything about you, and I am Mr. Big, I have credentials and the trust of the others in the room. I have just smeared you big time. How would you respond to that question?
And Hillary likes this country because this country has turned her into a MULTI-MILLIONAIRE ROYAL!!!
“Resentment is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die.”
Karl Rove’s SOP. Spread lies, disinformation and negative news stories about your opposition.
It’s called a “whisper campaign” and you can expect to see more and more of these. It’s the only thing Rove knows how to do.
Hey, Rove! Stuff your little white board in your yap!

This is a post for everyone today who has read or been directed to read the so-called news stories found on The Daily Currant. Also I included Jim Robinson as a courtesy ping.
The Daily Currant is not a news site. It is a gag site which posts satirical "stories" as if they were the real news. Most Conservatives would probably agree that the "satires" are anti-Conservative.
There have been threads posted on Free Republic in the not too distant past advising Freepers that "articles" from The Daily Currant are fiction, and mostly designed to poke fun at Conservatives:
