Regardless of who may be right or wrong on the current Trump/Bush keeping America safe debate, the bottom line is whose policies would you rather have in place going forward and which will keep America safer? Trump's deport and secure the border policy or Bush's amnesty and open borders?
Can't wait to see how you explain your ugly treatment of good old freepers who merely disagree with you about Trump.
Please tell us how you feel.
Trump is a mensch. Jeb Bush is a lily-livered juvenile who can’t seem to understand that he is not running for president of Mexico.
He lied about Scott Walker.
He lied about Dr. Carson.
Now he’s lied about George Bush.
He lied to multiple note holders and bankers in filing bankruptcy FOUR times.
He is lying to us now about his fake conservatism. He is deceiving vast numbers of voters. Since he uses dammocrap talking points in a lot of his stuff, he’s not only attracting decieved Republicans, but he’s attracting some folks from the Occupy Wall Street crowd, too.
Cruz is playing the political angles.
He hasn’t condemned trump but he’s hardly come out and explicitly agreed with his lies, or endorsed him as a candidate.
Rooster, you can do better than that.
What was it you said to me the other time...don’t “eff” with me because you’re a killer? LOL
Some of you are like grade-school children, dancing in idiot glee, hoping to see some zots.
You’re beneath contempt.
I’m sorry.
I will not vote based on resentment, I will vote based on hope. For a varity of solid, objective, and obvious reasons Trump is the candidate who is generating the most hope.
Is this a trick question?
“Resentment is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die.”
“Illegals and amnesty is #1 issue in 2016.”
Yep.
Rational post, not full of resentment and spite. Thanks!
I think it was part of the Bush/Rove “new tone” thing.
Same here. I don't want either one.
You lie. That’s what spite and resentment does to a person.
You don't need to obsess on that little kitty.
You are a screaming beatch behind the anonymity of the interweb.
But you have no respect for your fellow Freepers.
You just hate and lie.
Cheese do you lie.
I am sorry that your boy Cruz didn't catch fire. But that's the way it goes.
I was a Cruz supporter first.
But I moved on.
Your nastiness has sought to destroy your friends here...but failed of course.
Trump and keep putting the blame on this whole escalating mess on Clinton and his not getting Bin Laden when he had multiple chances.
Aye, we should not argue over split milk. We do need to learn from our mistakes. We know NOW that the GOPe establishment globalists do not have the nation’s best interests at heart.
The followers of Islam, global warming & political correctness are tools of globalists to grasp power from freedom loving people in western nations.
They do not believe in our nation’s sovernty or care about our nation’s citizens. This 2016 presidential election will be about allegiance to the United States.
It’s the liberal liar trump who lies.
I have no resentment. I’m just not going to vote for another liberal, especially one pretending to be a conservative, who is a proven liar.
Cruz vs Bush is a nobrainer. Same goes for Trump vs Bush.
Is Cruz a better Conservative? Yes. Is he good on Constitutional matters? Yes. Has he had private sector chief executive experience in building an economic empire? No.
The number one and two issues facing our nation are illegal immigration and our national debt. IMO, Trump has the tools to conquer these two issues better than Cruz.
I don't dislike Cruz. I do think him being a Conservative that doesn't have the charisma Trump does, it will be next to impossible for him to win the nomination.
This being said, this issue does boil down to exactly what Jim boiled it down to.
Between Cruz and Bush, it is a no brainer.
Between Trump and Cruz, it is also a no brainer.
Going beyond that, between Trump and Clinton if you don't see this as a no brainer, you've go no brain.
I told myself I wouldn't vote for Romney. I wound up doing it because I recognized how destructive Obama had been and would likely become. I couldn't risk that.
With Hillary, it's the same thing. She would be so destructive, and coming off Obama, she's a real threat to this nation.
Trump is not.
“That depends on whether Trump can be trusted to keep his word. Hes never been elected to office so he has no track record of keeping campaign promises.”
Look at his business track record. Thirty years of keeping his real estate promises to builders, contractors, workers to get a job done, under budget and preferably ahead of schedule; like his current worksite is doing, the old post office in Wash. D.C. that is being converted into a hotel and is under budget and ahead of schedule.
Trump has 500 plus businesses, and virtually all of them have been successful. Four subsidiary Casino investments in Atlantic City, N.J. went belly up in 2008, when the whole economy crashed, and when most Casinos there went into bankruptcy and had to restructure. With that one exception, Trump is worth gold, with successful businesses all over the world.
Trump is also making lots of money just selling his campaign hats and other campaign paraphenalia, lol. Yet another little business enterprise. What he touches turns to gold, a 10 billion dollar empire’s worth. Trump sets his mind to it, and things get done. I am quite sure he will turn that same mindset on big time once in the WH, with equal success. And the deals he will know how to negotiate, both foreign and domestic, the Art of the Deal. That’s right in Trump’s wheelhouse. He will be a great President, IMHO.
