I read articles like this yet I also read other articles that it is really tough for Israelis to get permission to arm themselves, except in special areas, like settlements. I’d really like to find something definitive about the reality of being an Israeli citizen seeking to be armed for personal protection.

Jewbacca replied to a post the other day about it and it is NOT that easy for civilians to be armed. But apparently some areas are at least easing the restrictions some. I did post something about it but maybe some FReeper listening in this morning has further info.
