Just after a townhall in Keene, New Hampshire, CNNs Jake Tapper caught with Hillary Clinton where he asked her on who signed off on her use of a personal server during her time as secretary of state.

He only read the emails from Reggie Love.
Yup. ‘State’ allowed it. She was ‘State.’
Bernie doesn’t care about Hellary’s e-mail fiasco. Maybe she has some goodies on the old Bernmeister himself? (.
Interviewing her is a complete waste of time. She won’t admit her own name.
“Can I as a stupid question?
If nobody signed off on Hillary using the private personal server, then how come she keeps saying what she did was allowed and permitted; she keeps using those exact words allowed and permitted??? Who allowed and who permitted her to set up her email that way???? Nobody??? Nobody was in charge??”
Not a stupid question at all and I would think (not sure) since she was the HEAD of the dept (sec of state) she approved herself.maybe not in writing but that is were I think the approval must come from....if not higher up
For their personal email. I really don't care what Condoleezza Rice ordered on Amazon or suggested to the NFL commissioner. I do care about official email as Secretary of State getting handled in a secure and legal method. I would be very upset if condi@hotmail.com was the official address of the SoS.
What if the Secretary of the Treasury insisted that all payments to the IRS be mailed to his house?
I dislike and distrust Shrillary. I would like to see her twisting slowly in the breeze. But being as fair as I can be, didn’t Powell, and maybe another Sec. of State have some kind of bootleg email setups, too?
I recall her trying to say that the holder of the data had the right to decide if it was classified or not (meshes with earlier stories of emails being stripped of classification markings in attempt to cover it up) and she is sorely mistaken -- it is the ORIGINATOR of the data that decides if it is classified or not and anyone receiving it is required, by law, to protect it as originally classified.
We keep hearing stories about how she's being investigated on the "gross negligence" angle instead of criminally but gross negligence is criminal in nature.
No way they can preserve the classification system w/o finding she took a lot of really illegal actions with it - hard to prosecute the "little people" for such actions if they don't go after those who are really connected in the national security realm....
and every thing that goes into it is just north of the 'taint.
You have to parse those words.
She's right. The policy didn't prohibit it...federal statutes did.
. . . but not consistent with the fact that Hillary has not been charged with criminal abuse of classified information.
She said, “....it was allowed under the rules of the State Department.....the rules of government...”
Whatever that is, I would 1) say bullshit, and 2) say she lies. IIRC there was an Executive Order on this circa 2005 or thereabouts.
She, as a very highly likely OCA (Original Classifying Authority - this is a very small, select group) as an Obama agency head authorized as such by Obama knew full well the scope and problem with some of those emails - or she should have. She either knew and thought she wouldn’t get caught, or she was supremely, grossly and criminally negligent.
she illustrates well the principle.....
ask not for permission, rather, ask instead for forgiveness
It is certainly #1 and #2.
The difference is if she just violated "state dept rules" or "rules of the government" she would get off with a stern talking to.
However, she will never say the words "law" or "federal statute" because that might mean a fancy new bright orange pantsuit and stainless steel bracelets for her.
It's the Chicago Way. Everyone, up and down the chain of command get a part of the Skim. It's why it's the City That Works. You screw with the System, everyone doesn't a slice of the Ham.
It's why I'd like to see Trump promise to investigate and indict the previous administration... Imagine the panic!
