Excellent point!!! I never thought of it that way, but you are absolutely correct! Here’s an experience I had regarding your point. There’s a young woman I know who is an ultra Libtard. Her parents are ultra libtards. Daddy started a solar electric distribution company. Dad, Mom and young woman (daughter) all work to save the planet selling photovoltaic arrays and such. In her off time, daughter will play Call of Duty, or whatever it is, every waking hour she doesn’t have to work. She met her live in boyfriend (another libtard) online playing those games. One day I asked daughter and boyfriend if they’d like to try shooting some of the guns they use in their game. Their eyes lit up! So I donated an hour or so of my time, and the ammo, to let them try out various firearms that they knew all the specs on from playing the game. They were ear to ear grins they whole time!!! She even posted the pictures I took of her on the firing line to her Facebook page. Mommy threw a fit, but daughter didn’t care. So, to verify your point with at least 2 younger people, they may have drank the liberal kool aid on 95% of the issues, but due to the video games and getting some real life range time, I’d bet a lot of money that at least those two will probably never be anti-gun.
