Noting the obvious, Vladimir Putin pointed out that the US is in a very weak position concerning Syria...

Putin may be a thug, but he’s a very smart thug. He can probably SMELL Obama’s weak knees all the way from Moscow.
The U.S. leadership is weak not its people....
No, its leadership is weak. And are you ever in for a surpise Jan 2017 Putie
The US is only weak because of the pussy in the White House.
He can probably SMELL Obamas weak knees all the way from Moscow.
Correction::::
He can smell the load Obama dropped in his pants all the way to Moscow.
So is Russia, but who is counting?
The old Chinese proverb still applies ....... Dead fish rots from the head down.
That certainly applies to obama but you can add most of Washinton to the fish head.
RE: The U.S. leadership is weak not its people....
Alas, I wish I can believe that, but it is ITS PEOPLE who voted for this leadership — TWICE.
Those people willingly elected that leadership. They did not appear by unicorn.
Senses? He KNOWS for a fact that Obama hasn't a clue. He's demonstrated his naivete numerous times.
Beat me to it.
And the GOP that campaigned on working with him.
He is also keenly aware that we are depleted, financially and morally. He lived through it once already.
We could recover. We could recover quickly. Look at how post-war Germany and Japan turned around. We can do the same.
This is what the NeoCons and Obamunism have brought us in the past quarter century:
“II. Waging War
1. Sun Tzu said: In the operations of war, where there are in the field a thousand swift chariots, as many heavy chariots, and a hundred thousand mail-clad soldiers, with provisions enough to carry them a thousand li, the expenditure at home and at the front, including entertainment of guests, small items such as glue and paint, and sums spent on chariots and armor, will reach the total of a thousand ounces of silver per day. Such is the cost of raising an army of 100,000 men.
2. When you engage in actual fighting, if victory is long in coming, then men’s weapons will grow dull and their ardor will be damped. If you lay siege to a town, you will exhaust your strength.
3. Again, if the campaign is protracted, the resources of the State will not be equal to the strain.
4. Now, when your weapons are dulled, your ardor damped, your strength exhausted and your treasure spent, other chieftains will spring up to take advantage of your extremity. Then no man, however wise, will be able to avert the consequences that must ensue.
5. Thus, though we have heard of stupid haste in war, cleverness has never been seen associated with long delays.
6. There is no instance of a country having benefited from prolonged warfare.”
We need to reject transnational hubris and look after our own interests. Here. First. To the exclusion of all foreign entanglements. Just as the Founders intended.
Russians know a pussy when they see one.
Trump mentions rebuilding our military in every speech.
Notwithstanding the quite temporary stay of Mr. “Soft Power” in the White House, no country ever prospered by underestimating the United States of America and its people.
That used to be my position up until fairly recently.
But seeing how the American populace has continued to bow down to the most outlandish and egregious examples of PC insanity, I’ve concluded that the ‘people’ have grown weak and spineless too. Once you started having school districts right in the American heartland start panicking when a third-grader draws a gun, or have people run out of business by the homo-fascists without blowback... well, I just no longer have the confidence in the people anymore.
