A forthcoming report by the congressional U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission provides new details of China’s space-weapons programs, dubbed counterspace arms, that are aimed at destroying or jamming U.S. satellites and limiting American combat operations around the world.

“China is pursuing a broad and robust array of counterspace capabilities, which includes direct-ascent anti-satellite missiles, co-orbital anti-satellite systems, computer network operations, ground-based satellite jammers and directed energy weapons,” a late draft of the commission’s annual report states. “China’s nuclear arsenal also provides an inherent anti-satellite capability.”

It’s no problem. We can always launch our counter-measures to defend against them, using the rocket engines Russia sells us...

(is a SARC tag needed?)

Don’t worry, the purple-lipped Kenyan clown is addressing climate change. HA HA, take that China.

I keep both a working compass and a box of charts for just such a possibility. ;-)

This is all Clinton's fault.

China never could develop the rocket or guidance technology to ever do anything or to nuke us, but under Bill Clinton:

Rockets in China were blowing up without direction on the pads.
Clinton had engineers from Loral go in and correct both their missile guidance system problems and rocket blowing up problems.

In case we all forget, we are watching Bill Clinton in China here and Bill gave the Chinese who could at most lob a missile by accident into the most North of Alaska the ability to with accuracy nuke every country by missile in the world.

Thank you Bill, we should hire your wife next as well I guess because as voters we tend to be a bunch of A-holes.

Can you tell by the way that I am way fed up by the stupidity.

The Chinese have really begun to excel in high tech. And they are integrating this technology into weapons systems very cheaply now.

I look for them to weaponize drone & robot technology into very efficient killing machines!

The Chinese are smart, driven, and hard workers. I hate to say it, but it's scary and depressing when you compare the product of their education system to ours.

Another country's leaders who are playing Chess while ours are playing tic-tac-toe. Or so it seems; though I actually think some of ours are trying to secretly destroy the U.S.A.

I think the proper adjective for his lips is “blurple”. Black + Purple = Blurple

There won't be anything in the malls, just empty shelves - same for the Walmarts.

The average person can't comprehend the position we're in. It's like when the power goes out and you think, I'll just microwave something to eat.

The word "average," in America, has reached horrifying levels of stupidity.
