Rush: (paraphrased) Global warming has gotten really bad in AaahGaaahnistaahhn
But will our troops be forced to look the other way when the Afghan commanders decide to rape little boys?
Somehow I suspected President Obama would leave the troops there until he left office. After his surrender to Iran, and Libya,Yemen,Syria,Iraq where he screwed the pooch royally, he did not want another failed state in his loss column while he is in the oval office. Instead, he will kick this can down the road so that his failure in Afghanistan may be slipped into the next guy’s column.Officially coming up on his last year in office Obama has switched from blame the last guy mode to blame the next guy mode for all his failures.
Just so it doesn’t effect his poll numbers.
The HuffPo article is very “useful”. It begins by saying that the Administration’s new argument is that staying means things are going well, and repeating the old saw that “there is no military solution”.
Back in 2004, I remember on the Swift Boat Vets site one of the vets saying of John Kerry “My God, even Stephen Seagall doesn’t have the stones to lie like that.”
It seems we can add most of the (other) members of this administration to that.

Zero’s just another politician who doesn’t keep his promises. Bummed but not at all surprise.
