Police say former Texas A&M wide receiver Thomas Johnson has admitted to randomly attacking and killing a man on a Dallas jogging trail. Dallas police Deputy Chief Rob Sherwin says Johnson admitted to killing the jogger with a "large-edged weapon" in a random act of rage on the White Rock Creek Trail early Monday.

Johnson was arrested after calling 911 from a nearby equestrian center. Johnson is being held without bond. Jail records don't list an attorney who could comment on his behalf.

“If only we’d elected a black president 6 years ago, enacted affirmative action and doled out $22 trillion dollars in welfare, none of this would’ve happened.”

*SNORT* :)

Sudden Jihad syndrome? BLM? Who in the hell decides to randomly attack someone with a large edged weapon? Jogger should have been carrying...even a small 38 revolver would have made a hell of difference.

But Johnson was arrested in 2014 on charges of evading arrest, burglary of a habitation and auto theft in Dallas County after he allegedly broke into his aunt’s house and stole her minivan and money.

The aunt told police then that Johnson “had been causing problems in the family for a long period of time,” according to an affidavit.

Pampered Black football star knew no bounds, he was owed.

Oxycodone is a great drug for pain, I’ve used it. It is very addictive and can damage your hearing, like Rush, if used for prolonged periods UNNECESSARILY. I haven’t used it in years, but I still remember it worked and worked well, to the point where I actually ENJOYED it....................

I read that another trail user witnessed the attack and did nothing, except maybe call after the fact (details are fuzzy). Had he been armed and a man he could have taken action and killed this pos. In the least he should have intervened.

I found a picture of him with what looks like his parents.

But he broke into and stole his auntee's car.

Makes me think he was not living at home during school breaks.

...and I haven't seen anyone say why or where he disappeared to previously?

“Was this the knockout game taken too far?”

The knockout game is attempted homicide. One punch to the head often results in death.

Ah, thank you for the reminder. It is obvious, but I didn’t think of that. Indeed, the whole phenomena stinks of hate and murder.

That pisses me off that they threw Manziel’s name in there.

No kidding. Like he's ultimately responsible. What a bunch of garbage.

“Ah, thank you for the reminder. It is obvious, but I didn’t think of that. Indeed, the whole phenomena stinks of hate and murder.”

Indeed, and hate and murder for the most frivilous of reasons. Anyone involved in such an action has no moral base. They are simply savages and pagans who see anyone outside of their immediate group as resources to be used.

Some may be redeemable, but I fear that few will heed the call.
