Turkey is angry at Russia for backing Assad so I don’t foresee that unless the Turkish military carries out a coup against the Islamists. Then the west would black list Turkey and drive it into Russia’s hands as happened in Egypt.
Turkey supports Saudi Arabia against Assad because the natural gas pipeline to Europe goes through Syria...and then through Turkey. The Turks get a piece of the Saudi action ($$$$$) if Assad is gone.
It happened in Egypt. Is there any chance the real militaries of the various countries involved will get it together and destroy ISIS and other rebel groups? Then go back to their definable animosities.
