Cobb Countians who attended Donald Trumps Saturday campaign stop said they left impressed and inspired by the billionaire presidential hopeful.
Lew Stafford of east Cobb, a Cobb Superior Court deputy clerk, said he hasnt decided who to vote for, but hes a fan of Trump.
I think we can count on Donald Trump to pick some of the best Supreme Court justices, Stafford said. I think he would do well in negotiating with other countries like Russia. I think he would help keep America safe. I think he would have common sense as far as legislation he pushes.
Debra Lieb of Marietta, a musician, came away from the rally with an autographed red hat.
Hes just so inspiring, Lieb said. Hes exactly what we need. Someone who can work independently and give all the people what we need as far as building the economy and that type of thing. Every aspect of what he wants to do I agree with 300 percent.
Wanda Becker of east Cobb, who works in the Cobb School Districts accountability and research department, said one of her favorite things about Trump is that hes self-funding his campaign.
He cant be bought, Becker said. It leaves him free. He owes no one.
Becker said Trump brings an energy to the race that gives her hope.
He says things that others wont say and things that have got to be addressed, she said. He has a track record in life that is desperately needed. His talents are desperately needed as the leader of our country, and I dont see him as being just a figurehead.

TRUMP'S ADORING CROWDS A supporter takes a selfie with Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump after he spoke during a rally at the North Atlanta Trade Center in Norcross, Ga on Saturday. (Staff Photos: David Welker, Gwinnett County Post)
The comments come from a diverse representation and are common and typical of the Trump effect
<><> Ann Coulter described Trump's immigration dissertation as better than the hallowed Magna Carta.
<><> Trump w/ an American eagle. / Martin Schoeller for Time Magazine.
<><> He was depicted as a Founding Father on a magazine cover.
<><> And this.....revolutionary Trump.
That great graphic oughta scare off the TDS crowd.
I like trump but the hero worship is mind-boggling...Although after seven years of Obama it’s understandable.
From the article:
“The country is hungry for the truth, he said. We cant find the truth anywhere in the media and the politicians, and its destroying our belief in the political system.”
When throngs of southerners cheer on a NYC slicker billionaire you know a ‘Movement’ is going on.
I don’t see any hero worship of Trump. Perhaps a little enthusiasm that we finally have an opportunity to put somebody competent in the White House.
——”I think he would have common sense as far as legislation he pushes”——
That is Free Republic heresy. Common sense is not allowed. strict adherence to any one of several dogmatic doctrines is absolutely required. Common sense is not allowed
Trump;Trump;Trump;Trump;Trump;Trump;
We are the supporters of Trump, and we are growing and getting louder and bigger all across America
Trump;Trump;Trump;Trump;Trump;Trump;
All the way to the White House 2016!!!
The headline writer managed to put a negative spin on it, however.
Yeah. Let's just keep up with the "common sense" we've gotten out of DC for the past two decades, both political parties.
Thanks for posting.
What a nice way to start the day.
yep.... that’s what I’m talkin ‘bout Wilson
Amen.
I’m all for enthusiasm, Lord knows we need it, and if Trumps our nominee then he’s got my vote. But we’re still in the vetting process and I’d hate to wait till we got to the big game before some big shoe drops because we got to starry eyed to see it coming. Just saying.
And because he speaks off the cuff with sincerity (whether you like what he says or not), people trust him.
And because he is an outsider who can't be bought, he is doubly vetted.
And because most of Americans are desperate, I mean DESPERATE, for real leadership (and whatever else he is, he is a strong leader), he is triply vetted.
Hence the wild enthusiasm.
People are permitting themselves to hope that perhaps the country just might not be lost after all.
Thx for alerting the ping list. I had forgotten to do it.;-)
