An Unlikely Set of Seeming Non Sequiturs, However...
Vanity | 10/10/2015 | CharlesOconnell

In the unlikely event that the President were ever impeached, what would Senator Mitch McConnell's position be regarding arbitrary restrictions on the scope of prosecution?

On Sunday, November 24, 1963, my sister and I were watching TV in our pajamas. Our Mom was standing behind us, watching too. We watched Lee Harvey Oswald get shot by Jack Ruby on live TV.

We listened to various news stories through the years for explanations of those memorable events. As a teenager I listened to a "Boston Conspiracy Conference" carried live for several days in the 1970s on KPFK, socialist radio in Los Angeles.

I found it most mysterious that Sam Giancana's girlfriend Judith Campbell Exner was personally connected with President Kennedy, after some behind the scenes political influence was supposed to have been involved with Kennedy winning Illinois.

However, I generally accepted the idea that Oswald had acted alone.

Now news is coming out that a worthy successor to the Allen Dulles, CIA Director John McCone, who opposed the attempted assassination of Fidel Castro, the successful assassination of South Vietnamese President Ngo Dinh Diem, and LBJ's expansion of the Viet Nam war, withheld certain "inflammatory evidence" from the Warren Commission. politico.com/magazine/story/2015/10/jfk-assassination-john-mccone-warren-commission-cia-213197

Dulles had apparently lost favor over the failed Bay of Pigs Invasion and may have been peripherally present during attempts on Fidel Castro's life. McCone more directly blamed later CIA Director, Richard Helms for attempts on Castro's life.

The unstated, between the lines implication of this present news, at this time, seems to be, that

The short of the long of it is, this complicates our seemingly settled view of the JFK assassination, at a rather sensitive time in the unfolding of Cuban-American relations.

Daniel Greenfield at David Horowitz' The Freedom Center and Frontpage Magazine, has stated on his personal blog The Sultan of Knish, that traditional efforts at combatting sex-tourism, often with a focus on Thailand, are suffering an end run via Cuba.

The embargo didn’t turn Cuba into a hellhole whose main tourism industry is inviting progressive Canadian pedophiles to rape its children. Castro did that with help from the dead guy on the red t-shirts. “One of the greatest benefits of the revolution is that even our prostitutes are college graduates,” Castro told Oliver Stone. In real life, his prostitutes are lucky if they graduated from elementary school. American admirers eager to get to Havana claim to be worried that Starbucks will ruin their Socialist paradise. What really worries them is that American businesses might give Cuban teens an economic alternative to sexually servicing decrepit leftists from Berkeley for $10 a night in the revolutionary version of Thailand where everyone is free, especially the political prisoners and raped children.…aging hippies can buy children in Cuba for the price of a Happy Meal. - Daniel Greenfield, The Sultan of Knish blog, April 18, 2015, "The Death of the Left" sultanknish.blogspot.com/2015/04/the-death-of-left.html

An additional complicating factor is the history of the Clinton Impeachment as related in democrat House of Representative Impeachment Prosecutor David Schippers' 2001 book Sellout: The Inside Story of President Clinton's Impeachment amazon.com/Sellout-Inside-President-Clintons-Impeachment/dp/0895261952

Schippers asserted that, whereas the Senate Republican leadership restricted the prosecution to only two counts, fully ninety percent (90%) of potential, actionable charges were sealed for 50 years.

This brings to the forefront, the question:

If the President should be so unwise as to try to functionally abrogate the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution, a prospect that might well prove extremely unpopular with the American public, and if the President should, by some remote chance, happen to be impeached, what would Senator Mitch McConnell's position be regarding restricting the articles only to the most controversial?

Then: Pres. Nixon resigned to avoid a Constitutional crisis.

Now: The criminal GOP (complicit traitors and
systematic liars) work with the undocumented
Obama to successfully destroy the US Constitution (and
freedom worldwide) on a daily basis.

We watched Lee Harvey Oswald get shot by Jack Ruby on live TV.

I saw it on live TV too. I was 7 yrs old. Also, happened to be watching the live broadcast the night Robert Kennedy was shot in Los Angeles.

I was supposed to go on a Catholic school field trip to TRW in Santa Monica where Bobby was supposed to make a campaign stop. I don’t know if it was before or after that fateful day.

If the House ever does work up the backbone to impeach Barack Obama you can bet the farm that McConnell will do his very best to stop republican senators from convicting.

If most of the “players” are being blackmailed (who do you think NSA is spying on?) then impeachment becomes vanishingly unlikely.
