Yesterday’s brutal knife attack on the U.S.-born French train hero Spencer Stone is yet more evidence suggesting that Stone and his fellow heroes are being targeted, possibly by Islamic terrorists.
In just the span of a week, this is the second time a world-famous American Christian who overwhelmed a would-be mass-murdering jihadist terrorist on a train in Europe two months ago appears to have been targeted.
Stone, Oregon National Guardsman Alek Skarlatos, and civilian Anthony Sadler, devout Christians who have been friends since childhood, all subsequently received France's highest honor, the Légion d'Honneur, from French president François Hollande and were feted at the White House and the Pentagon.
Stone, Skarlatos, Sadler, British national Chris Norman, French-American Mark Moogalian, and a young French banker identified as “Damien A.” all saved potentially hundreds of lives for the role they played this summer in subduing Ayoub El-Khazzani, a Moroccan national with known ties to radical Islam. When the assailant got on the train in Brussels, Belgium, there were 554 souls on board.
Because of what they did on that train, all six men and possibly those close to them make attractive targets for Islamists. Fanatics who support Muslim expansionism surely view the sextet as enemies for taking down one of their own.

I prefer to live my life understanding that it is the bad guys who invite trouble. Good guys stand up to them as this brave man did.

Spencer Stone is the guy involved in the bar fight stabbing but it was Alek Skarlato who was from Oregon and was enrolled at Umpqua Community College and scheduled to begin classes but didn’t go because he got a gig on Dancing With The Stars.
As far as being attacked by a “gang of foreigners”, facts not (or not yet) in evidence. News reports say they two men involved in the fight with Stone’s group that started inside the bar were “Asian”. Yes in the UK, Asian refers to either “Far” East Asians (formerly known as “Orientals”) and “Near” East Asians or what we call Middle Easterners. But in American news reports and the Sacramento police reports they refer to the two men as being “Asian” which would point to “Oriental” in ethnicity. However just because they were “Asian/Oriental” doesn’t necessarily mean they are foreigners. There are a lot of ethic Chinese and Japanese and Koreans in that part of California whose families trace back to the mid-1800’s.

Now lets not jump to conclusions.
We need to investigate the attackers and dig to find any pictures of rebel flags.
If no rebel flags are found, then we should just let the story die. If there are rebel flags, then we can clear the entire evening newscast make it our top story.
You are incorrect in that the Brits have long referred to those of Middle Eastern ethnicities as “Asians” and it has nothing to do with recent political correctness. Also many ethic Indians (as in those from the sub-continent and not to be confused with American Indians) consider themselves to be “Asian” rather than Caucasian even though they are in many cases genetically more Caucasian than Asian.
But some in the UK, especially some Sikhs and Hindus, don’t want to be lumped in as Asians anymore if that means being lumped in with Muslims.

But the terminology goes back to the time of British colonialism and when there was by definition and common language usage; the Far East (China, Japan, Korea, Mongolia and other countries on the eastern rim of Asia) and the “Near” or the Middle East (First used in 1856, the term “Near East” was defined specifically against the Far East and referred to the region in Asia that’s west of India. Today, the region of the Near East is imprecise and overlaps with the Middle East. It typically refers to southwest Asia, particularly Turkey, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and other nations of the Arabian Peninsula. It is not as commonly used as “Middle East.”). But people living in all three areas (Far, Near and Middle East) were all considered to be Easterners – ergo Asians by the Brits and by most of the rest of Europe as opposed to being Westerners.
ALL MILITARY AND HEROES SUCH AS THIS SHOULD CONCEAL CARRY... the government is not able or willing to protect them...

That “Asian” report was in a Brit newspaper. Asian is a reference to muslim in UK.
One thing to remember: Once is happenstance; twice is coincidence; the third time it's enemy action.
How many of this particular set of heroes has been involved in an attack, or possible attempted attack upon their person?
