Judging by White House wannabe Ben Carsons track record as a neurosurgeon, his presidential campaign should be declared dead on arrival!
In a bombshell investigation into his medical career, The National ENQUIRER has exclusively learned the now retired doc allegedly butchered one patients brain and EVEN left a sponge in anothers skull!
According to at least six malpractice lawsuits against Carson obtained by The ENQUIRER, the Republican candidate allegedly rushed patients into surgery, and brandished a scalpel like a meat cleaver!
Hes totally untrustworthy! one former patient, Karly Bailey, told The ENQUIRER. The Florida woman claimed Carson spent maybe 14 minutes with her and her parents before performing a delicate brain tumor operation that ruined her life at age 9.
My parents told him they werent authorizing him to remove the whole tumor because of the risk, said Karly, now 27.
But he did what he goddamned pleased! He tried to remove all of the tumor, and injured my nerves and brain stem.
I was paralyzed on my right side. Ive never fully recovered. I have chronic fatigue, and my eyes dance around. Its like having permanent vertigo. My face droops and people are really cruel.
Karlys family slapped Carson then director of pediatric neurosurgery at Baltimores Johns Hopkins Hospital with a lawsuit.

It’s the National Enquirer why are we harboring any thought of believing it?

National Enquirer got its tail sued off by Carol Burnett way back when. Since then, of all the publications, the NE is generally completely and totally right on the facts.
They broke the Silky Pony love baby story. That story wrecked his campaign for good.

So October 7, 2015 is the day that they go all against Dr. Ben.
If we can figure out who picked this date, we will know who is really running the show.

Since then, of all the publications, the NE is generally completely and totally right on the facts. This is the same National Enquirer whose front cover (as of yesterday's magazine rack at the local drugstore) says Hillary Clinton has only six months to live, correct?

The date was picked because 3Q fundraising totals will be released next week on the 15th and Carson will be #1 with Cruz #2 and the Jeb, Rubio, Fiorina far behind.

A brain surgeon that operates on hundreds or thousands of patients is bound to have patients who don’t make it or are destined to live with disabilities The only perfect surgeon is the man upstairs.

I am not a neurosurgeon, and am not an expert, but this is a hit piece. The surgeon is the captain of the ship, so if the sponge count is wrong, that is considered a complication against the surgeon. However, the description of a shunt being place in the wrong direction sounds fishy. Shunts are placed in hydrocephalus children all the time, and in my career I have seen a few go back into surgery a few days after the shunt is placed because of malfunction. Highly doubtful that it was placed in the wrong direction with a skilled pediatric neurosurgeon.. What really frosts me is when patients say “he only spent 14 minutes with me!” They have no idea of the time spent prior to the face to face exam- in which the physician reviews the medical records and the imaging studies. That can add another half hour of time. Not to mention the time spent with paperwork after the exam.
If Dr. Carson was a hack, there would be no way he would have attained chief of neurosurgery at John Hopkins. Also, brain surgery for tumors is a risky procedure, and neuro effects can occur after surgery. I've never heard a patient say “ Doctor, just remove part of the tumor.” That makes no sense at all.
Neurosurgeons have the highest malpractice insurance rates of any specialty because of situations like this.

Yeah, that’s why he was chief of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins for umpteen years.....

I agree with everything you said. This just frosts me.
The only take away from the hit piece was the number of lawsuits during his time as a practicing surgeon. They were very low. That is an indication he was a very good surgeon. Sadly the LIVs will not understand any of this.
