In a post on his Facebook page Monday night, GOP presidential candidate and retired neurosurgeon Dr. Ben Carson said he never saw a body with bullet holes more devastating than taking the right to arm ourselves away."
In response to a question from a supporter named Dan, who asked him how the tragedy in Oregon has altered his position as a Second Amendment supporter, Carson wrote, Dan, I grew up in the slums of Detroit. I saw plenty of gun violence as a child. Both of my cousins were killed on the streets. As a Doctor, I spent many a night pulling bullets out of bodies.
There is no doubt that this senseless violence is breathtaking but I never saw a body with bullet holes that was more devastating than taking the right to arm ourselves away, Carson added.
Serious people seek serious solutions. The Left would prefer to use these tragedies to advance a political agenda. To me, that is also devastatingly sad. The Left would have you believe that a man that asked Christians to stand up (and then executed them one by one) would obey new gun laws. That kind of logic explains many of the problems we find ourselves in today, he wrote.
Five people were killed on Thursday when 26-year-old Christopher Harper-Mercer opened fire on classrooms at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Ore. According to witness reports, Harper-Mercer asked his victims whether they were Christians and then shot his victims.
He said, Good, because youre a Christian, youre going to see God in just about one second,' the father of one witness, Stacy Boylan, told CNN, relaying his daughters account while she underwent surgery to treat a gunshot to her spine, the Washington Post reported. And then he shot and killed them.
Autumn Vicari described what her brother J.J. witnessed during the shooting.
According to NBC: Vicari said at one point the shooter told people to stand up before asking whether they were Christian or not. Vicaris brother told her that anyone who responded yes was shot in the head. If they said other or didnt answer, they were shot elsewhere in the body, usually the leg.
Except in cities.
Exactly, he is trying to flip flop on this.
Soft spoken and right on Bro.
He’s a gun grabber flip flopper that talks like he’s wrote his own presciption for heavy meds( talks real sloooow) and blinks like he’s about to have a seizure. Not voting for him.
And this little tidbit about the good doctor...

Look at the INNOCENT bodies in the UNPROTECTED government sponsored “gun free” kill zones.
He has flip flopped on this MANY times.
Love him, but cant trust him on this big one.
Dude's hopeless. Now that he has time to think a non-medical thought, he engages his mouth immediately and blurts it out. He eventually finds his way back to a position that would allow him to keep his support. The no semi-auto weapons in cities position was a doozy. Put him right in the frame with a long tradition of Jim Crow democrats. What a mess he is.
Herr Barack Obamadon adding more anti gun rules.
oooooo... so who do you support?
So, basically, according to the Doctor’s assessment, there was no senseless violence before the invention of the gun.
==
Guns do not cause the violence, Doctor. No more than if the perps used knives or bows & arrows or spears or rocks or IEDs.
Remove guns and they will revert to knives, bows & arrows, spears, rocks, IEDs to perform their violence.
“Except in cities.”
Except in “high-crime” areas.
If goobermunt then says there is “high-crime”
in AmeriKa then NO right to “keep and bear arms”.
For those that don’t understand that words have
meaning...here is a picture:

Unless you happen to live in a city - then he's not so sure...
Not blinky
Exactly, he is trying to flip flop on this.
