Gunman ID'd: 'You are going to see God in just about 1 second' Chris Harper-Mercer, 26, has been identified by law-enforcement officials as the gunman who shot and killed at least 10 people and injured 20 at a community college in Roseburg, Oregon, according to the New York Times.
“He appears to be an angry young man who was very filled with hate,” one law-enforcement official said.
Officials said Mercer lived in the area but was not a student at the college.
Douglas County Sheriff John Hanlin said the gunman was killed during a confrontation with officers shortly after they arrived at Umpqua Community College. The first 9-1-1 calls came in at 10:38 a.m. PST.
An online dating profile at SpiritualPassions, linked to Harper-Mercer’s email address, described him as living with his parents and searching for the “yin to my yang.” It identifies his political views as “conservative, republican” and his religious views as “not religious, not religious, but spiritual.” His desired match would have “pagan, wiccan, not religious, but spiritual” views, according to the profile.

Yes, I noticed that too. Conservative beliefs just do not mesh with wiccan/pagan beliefs.

The most salient and relevant point about this massacre is that he targeed Christians, because they were Christians, and still the MSM is managing to “report” this story while leaving out the most salient point in the story, the one aspect which explains his motive (if the motive of a lunatic can be explained).
Are those things date-stamped as to when changes are made? A lefty hacker could have added the conservative, Republican part and who would know?

Well, I fit only one-third of Fido969's description - I'm a Christian and love my brothers and sisters in Christ, and I'm against "gay" "marriage" - but here's what I want to conserve:

Yes. Further proving he didn't go there because classmates did him wrong but because it was a soft target. No gun zone. There was only on security guard on campus and he was unarmed. It was proposed last year the school hire more security and arm them but the college president said no. She should be sent packing since she put a big bulls eye on the campus.

It’s all about the guns. Never mind a guy disemboweled his gf a couple weeks ago and a kid strangled and stabbed his mother to death a few days ago. No guns were involved with those murders. When someone wants to kill, he’ll find a way.
For me he was a nut fallen not to far from the tree. He was out to sucker anyone to be his companion for whatever he decided. Looking at the photos I would take him to be of mixed race parentage. I am guessing that as the story unfolds the story will be he was just a confused young man in this world of sojourners.
