Children as young as 10 years old are receiving taxpayer-funded birth control in Washington State, according to public records obtained by Judicial Watch from the agency that provides medical coverage for the poor.
JW filed a public records request with the Washington Health Care Authority after reading a disturbing article in a pro-life news site over the summer about a Seattle high school that offers different forms of birth control without parental knowledge or consent. This includes implanting an intrauterine device (IUD) in a girls uterus free of cost. Its part of an initiative offered by Medicaid, the joint federal and state insurance program for the poor. The article points out the irony that a teen in Seattle cant get a sugary soft drink in high school but can have a device implanted into her uterus.
The data obtained by JW reflect increasing numbers of kids in all age groups receiving these birth control implants from 2013 to 2014. Figures cant be compared for 2015 because the full years data is not yet available, but the records show that in 2014 and at least part of 2015, girls as young as 10 received the implants. The largest group of minors that got the birth control implants was 17 years old, according to the data, but girls much younger also received them. Four 11-year-olds got birth control from the state during the 2 ½- year period and so did more than 100 girls between the ages of 12 and 13. The numbers go up as the girls get older with 364 girls age 14 getting the implants and 744 15-year-olds. The records show that 2,336 girls ages 16 to 17 were given implants during this period.

Ten year olds go to “High School” in Washington state????
It would be a crime if you or I did it.
The lifeboat is all around you.
Governments derive their power from the obedience of the governed. The converse is equally true. Conservatives lose because they obey.
If you hand over your kids to caesar, you shouldn’t be surprised when they come back to you as romans.
Couldn’t disagree more.
Governments derive their power from the inattention of the governed.
We have not monitored and protested government actions at a level they hear and understand. We have allowed unfettered abortions, irresponsible spending, lawlessness on the part of the Executive and bureaucracies, unconstitutional decisions by the courts, decimation of our military, disrespect for our law enforcement, illegal activity by city governments, illegal immigrant violations, including drug and other criminal activity.
We are too busy watching TV and we are going to get what we deserve if the numbed electorate does not wake up, take action, and get on their knees to God.
Not likely to happen.
How bad do the government schools have to get before all those how aided and abetted the evil are held accountable? Evil in the the government schools requires cooperation of the teachers, school staff, legislators, school board members, parents, and taxpaying citizens. l
All government schooling is built upon an evil foundation. It is a socialist cartel monopoly. Government schooling is a First Amendment and freedom of conscience abomination. It violates free speech, free exercise of religion, free press, and free assembly. It can not be reformed.
Well then we’re probably destined to disagree. We can pay attention to caesar till we’re blue in the face, he’s still going to do more or less exactly what he wants.
Every problem that you listed: legal infanticide, overspending, failure to abide by the Constitution, etc. are all constructs of caesar. Not God. And while the underlying principles of governance in America are quite good we forget something. Caesar is caesar, and God is God. It’s hard to serve two masters. Almost impossible to serve two masters well.
You note that we are too busy watching TV and should be on our knees praying. I agree that we should be praying, but that is for the greater glory of God and our relationship with our Lord. To the extent that caesar enters the picture it’s indirect.
In my faith we are instructed to pray for our leaders. I’m only human though and just mention their office and not the individual. :)
