If you wish to send it along, I don’t mind
Take care. Thanks for the response.
...and seemingly tireless.
A funny thing happened when Fox tried to do damage to Trump during their “debate”.
I turned off the network. And I have not turned it on since.
I am just as informed, maybe more, than I was before. Fox you really, really are blowing it. Big time.
Fox is screwed, big time.
Who needs brains when she has such stunningly blue eyes? Prettier than anyone at FOX.
Well, you can’t say that she was unfair to him. She asked questions, and let him answer. That’s all we’re asking for.
No WAY. Bill Kristol said those things? About Donald Trump?
Smelling salts for all...
Great post!
Thank you.
Bill Kristol had to step away from FoxNews, to come over and glom on to Trump’s CNN ratings. Telling.
Trump has, from the beginning, been classy and eloquent in one on one interviews with reporters/pundits with whom he has a modicum of rapport. He is always quite handsome, meticulously groomed, receptive and his words live up to his presence. These private one on one venues have always been a stark contrast to the stump speeches, for rallying the rowdy and building a movement.
His understanding of where he is heading with policy has been generalized for a reason, while behind the scenes he has been consulting with like minded, well educated and informed sources to eventually bring the broad brush into finer strokes, the facts and figures into line items.
The reason for the extended generalization on policy has served a larger purpose, or two. One is that he has had no need to show his hand, just because the media wanted fodder to nitpick through it and then throw it, piece by piece, back in his face. It was way to early to be goaded into details, no other candidate was revealing anything more and most important— Trump was LEADING BY MILES. There was no hurry until the race tightens for a candidate to have to throw out something to grab the cameras back again.
Trump is doing that. His timing is meticulous. The race has tightened, he has had time to be behind closed doors absorbing his consultants analysis and putting it together with his own instincts. So, what do we get? A stunning delivery on CNN, not FAUX, and the world sees an elegant man deliver an elegant PRO-GROWTH tax plan, simple enough for anyone to understand while teaching the viewer what the goal is— GROWTH, Reagan style. How many of the electorate even remember Reagan? They will by the time Trump finishes.
Growth is wealth. Not every dweeb out there even knows we were a once great and wealthy nation, with but a fraction of today’s foreign debt.
Oh really? Ouch.
We’ll it’s where he belonged anyway.
That guy hasn’t had much of a clue in 20 years, if he ever did.
Honestly! Bill Kristol looked almost like a FAN, already!
It was ACTUALLY Kristol who said Trump is being underestimated as a politician, and Hillary Rodham Gergen agreed! Shocking.
Can’t wait for Morning Joe in the AM.
He is changing his style. ..getting serious and compelling. Even Im impressed and Ive been very doubtful about him.
******
September 16th was his 3-month anniversary in the race. Think about it! What he’s done, what’s he changed, who he’s shaken up - 3 months! think about 6 months OR 4 YEARS!!
Spot on, tbf!!
SE Mom...Trump is leading in a way we’ve not seen, in decades. He’s taking NO prisoners, and he’s completely changed the DC landscape (think illegal immigration being discussed at the debates, Boehner resigning, etc)
Read about his family’s past (interesting American dream roots), and his positions....he’s the ONLY one laying out his positions like this, while garnering the support he is.
I just got home and just WOW! I saw only highlights but saw his presser on break releasing his Tax plan. Great News Day while I was at work! GO Trump!
Yep, Old Britt is such a typical horses ass.
I can’t think of any reporter/contributor who is even remotely in touch with fly over country.
I know you’re a heartfelt Trump supporter and I respect your defenses of him and sound reasoning. I didn’t mind that he’d not been specific, I mind that he’d been crass and often shallow and self-aggrandizing. I don’t trust a personality like that, but have always said I’d try to keep an open mind about him.
I admit to a grudging admiration for him. He’s endured rugged and often vicious hits from public and media - (much of it was self-inflicted to start). But I do not expect perfection from politicians, or doctors or lawyers or myself...so I keep watching and paying attention.
Trying to explain what it was like to live through Carter and then Reagan to younger people is hard. But we know that with a president who loves America, great changes can occur.
Thanks for the thoughtful reply. I’m wary yet, but open.
I like most of his tax plan, most of his immigration plan. Still not sure about his ideas on trade, I’m normally a free trade believer, just the word ‘fair’ raises my hackles:)
Mostly, I like that he loves America. I don’t think that is put on at all.
At my house. I have been a fox fan for 20 years. Now they are history.
