S"o called conservatives still not getting it"

LOL

We get it, which is why we're actually supporting a conservative, instead of your liberal reality-show celebrity.

If you really think Cruz doesn't have a chance, I wonder why you're over here trying to sell your liberal to us. Feeling a little nervous because your boy got booed at the Values Voters Summit...?

Enough of the slogans already...

Professors in the “Edutocracy” feel that Theoretical (talking about something you have never done) is just as valuable as real world experience...

Can Ted pick up the phone and call world leaders who will respect him as an equal or ...

Look, Ted is a great guy it is me as a professional involved in competency to do things based on experience...

NOT theory

Ted will be fine and your whining about Trump not having a perfect Conservative pedigree well I just say boo hoo to you. It is just as dumb and damning for the Repubs to take a totally polarizing hard right, especially if we have a rookie facing up to a long established Machine bent on owning him...

More time will be spent posturing than getting things done as Ted has not been there...

Case closed, stop the infighting based on petty checklists of Acceptability

All Americans vote, not just you!

Same here. That's why Ted Cruz is the best among candidates to restore our country.

OK...

Tell me about his top 10 negotiated and closed International agreements...

We will start there and move on until you understand we need talent ready to roll not grow into the position..

I sincerely await your responses..

Let's start with the US Constitution. Since every US president has to take the oath of the office.

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

Who knows, understands in depth, has been preserving, protecting and defending the Constitution the most among the candidates?

If the candidates don't have a clue about the US Constitution which is the foundation of this country, how are they going to execute the thing that they take the oath to do faithfully?

To respond to your question, name 10 negotiated and closed International agreements that any US president has negotiated personally.

They don't!

The art of making deals with other countries is called diplomacy. It is carried out by professional diplomats prior to endorsement by national politicians.

In the US, the Secretary of State is the top international negotiator/diplomat. Donald Trump is a master negotiator and would therefore be ideal for Secretary of State, head of the diplomatic corps.

Just look at the Iran deal - it was Secretary of State John Kerry who spent long hours and drove a 'hard bargain' with the Iranians.

If Trump is so strong, why are you here trash talking Cruz if he has no chance. You seem a little bent out of shape.

Agree, everybody needs to play their position with the same objective to which they SWORE an oath...

Personally I favor the Roman Republics model for dealing with corrupt officials..

CUT OFF THEIR NOSE, PUT THEM IN A BAG WITH A WILD ANIMAL, TIED IT SHUT AND THREW IT IN THE RIVER...

Public hangings for violators of the public trust times millions of impacted voters..

Time to thin the herd and the Pendulum of Divine Justice is swinging our way

Keep the Faith!

Can someone please translate this sentence into English for me?

Thanks in advance!

Ted is a great guy but he has not got the same level of experience or relationships with World leaders that Trump does..

Day 1 the other leaders are gonna size our Pres up and they are not looking for speeches about ideology within our borders.

And when the leaders say something he doesn’t like, will he whine about how mean they were to him? Call them names? Refuse to talk to them?

He’s proven himself to be utterly juvenile. Today he went before the Value Voters Summit and called Marco Rubio a “clown.” He’s not posting in the comments section of a blog for Chrissake....he’s running for President. And behaving like a 12 year old in so doing.

Or like a trust fund brat. Which Is really all he is, as it turns out.

Hank

Look at his record and what he has attained in his life...

And all you have is you think he whines about others comments about him...

Ok, sure, whatever you say...

All of the other information means nothing to you...

Wow

“WHY is TRUMP surging in the POLLS if he is in fact NOT the CONSERVATIVE but more like Romney???”

Trump has huge name recognition.
Trump is a businessman (which is a good thing imho).
Trump is a billionaire.
Trump has lots of sound bites that resonate with people sick of the status quo.

I would vote for Trump over a democrat, but I am donating money to Cruz and pray that he will get the nomination. But, the polls sure don't look good.

I've heard people say that Cruz is “weak”, or “too polite”. I think he what he does is use a debating style - where you aren't just arguing with someone (such as Trump's one-liners), but where he presents a reasoned argument. Of course that takes a bit longer, and doesn't get the press.

Here is a video from yesterday where Cruz is chastising Pelosi with her no vote on some measure regarding human rights in China. (I think it was something symbolic - like changing the name of a road to honor a human-rights prisoner in China).

GREAT response by Cruz - very presidential.

Reagan’s conservatism was in his core, the foundations of which came from his humble Midwestern, God fearing upbringing and childhood. The world’s culture took him astray for a while but it was the reality of evil in the world - communism for example, that brought him back to his roots. Trumps doesn’t have that kind of conservative foundation. One may see the evil of radical islam as doing the same of Trump - but he certainly is not shaping up to be like Ronald Reagan in my opinion.

Big huge DITTOS to everything you said.
I am donating to Ted Cruz.. voting for him and praying MUCH that he will get the nomination.
I am shocked and disappointed that so many here on Free Republic have accepted and are supporting the candidate that rhat is weak on the constitution vs the one that is strong... Trump vs Cruz.

Here’s the “other information” that means a LOT to me:

- Trump supports single-payer (socialized) medicine, saying recently that it works just dandy in Canada.

- He’s been consistently pro-abortion for DECADESS, and thinks his lefty wacko sister would be a super Supreme Court justice

- His knowledge of world events is scandalously non-existent

- He has shown no indication whatsoever of any sort of philosophical grounding. Compare him, for example, to Ronald Reagan, who read, wrote and spoke for decades on the principles of conservatism before ever even running for office. Trump talks only about himself.

- Because of the above he appears to have no actual plans or ideas about ANYTHING other than immigration. I’ll give him immigration. But on everything else his plan seems to be: “I’m going to hire the very best people possible.” Gee.......why didn’t anyone else think of that?

- He lies. Over and over again. You don’t really believe that whole story about his friends who were going to abort their baby but didn’t....and he turned out to be a “superstar?” Or about all the media who’ve apologized to him privately about various things?

Ill-informed. Not philosophically grounded. Inclined to latch onto fashionably leftist ideas. Buffoonish. A serial liar.

Other that that I suppose he’s a pretty good candidate.

Hank
