That's for no reason other than if you dislike the person/position, you call it "whining", whereas if you support them, you call it "standing up for yourself", "hitting back" or whatever.
Palin made all sorts of comments about unfair media treatment, which can easily be construed/spun as 'whining' if you're not a fan of hers.

Maybe she should of because they lost!She really couldn't as an unknown back then,chose as a running VP. She blew it away with her first appearance and ended up being bigger than McCain! Only reason I voted for McLame was because of her. One of the saddest days,when she lost. The McCain handlers/ GOPe stifled her speeches ,if you remember. She was WAY bigger than McCain and Still IS!

Beside having McCain this is why she lost and is today unelectable. She allowed the media to shape who she was not. Trump is using the same tactics used by liberals for years and it has been working. They don’t call the Republicans the stupid party for nothing. I think someone finally gets it.
