According to The Guardian, the networks U.S.-based Al Jazeera America will be spared from the cuts.
The newspaper reports falling oil prices and a possible radical change in investment strategy may force the job cutsand could signal a larger shift away from massive investment in news by the Qatari government.

If I was an employee, I’d be very worried about getting “cut” from these people.

Of course, with anything prefixed with “al-” these cuts will be executed by beheading.
Or so I surmise.

Well maybe they’ll get a “severance” package. Of course there are lots of other jobs out there, I’m sure they’ll have a blast.

According to The Guardian, the networks U.S.-based Al Jazeera America will be spared from the cuts. So why is that?
I am guessing that the propaganda value in the US must be important to the Qatari government.
I cant imagine why. I have never turned the channel on. I did turn it on once when AlGore owned out of curiosity. Never saw that there was anything worth watching of course.
