Another Victimless crime.A while back a guy plied a small child with liquor so he could put the moves on the child's mom, and the child died; was that child a "victim" of the legality of alcohol? To me the answer is clearly "no".

Good thing that's not the argument I made. I argue that the original article no more establishes that (as DL implied) heroin use is not a victimless crime than the incident I cite establishes that alcohol use is not a victimless crime.

Thank you for saying that, it was my first thought as well. Not human, not only in appearance but in the irresponsible attitude of taking those drugs, much less allowing an infant near them.
