Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and his team are working hard to calm their major donors some of whom are worried that Walker is on a downward slide and did little to help his campaign in Wednesday night's GOP debate.
On Thursday morning, less than 12 hours after Walker left the Simi Valley, Calif., debate stage, the presidential candidate and his team attended a fundraiser with several-dozen "bundlers" well-connected donors who collect money from their friends on behalf of a candidate at the Los Angeles home of Republican pollster Frank Luntz.
My house is open to anyone who wants to use it, Luntz said of the event.

The nervous donors must not have been reassured.
I think I see part of the problem.
Real shame. A terrible campaign.
Exactly. Can you believe that?
He did a great job beating back the public employee unions when he became governor. But I think he was mainly serving his big donors, not the people. He’s pretty much a Chamber of Commerce type. That brings in a lot of money, but not many votes.
Bingo.
there goes my no. 2 choice
now it’s
Cruz, Huckabee, Carson Fiorini, Rubio, Jeb
Wasting your donor’s money is never a smart move.
I see the field winnowing fast. Only establishment candidates still in it by February will be Jeb, Rubio and Kasich and of course three outsiders, Trump, Carson and Fiorina.
Cruz will still be in the race in February. And FioRINO is GOPe, not an outsider.
I’d think Cruz would stay in longer than Kasich. I’m glad to see things narrowing already. It’s painful when the debate goes on 3 hours and most of them have 3 questions or so.
I agree. I read some scuttlebutt that he didn’t have good advisors or managers either. It’s remarkable how handlers can mess up a campaign.
Damn shame, I like Walker.
Luntz? Pffftttt...
What will Cincinnatus wife do now?
Buh bye Scotty. Now you can get back to protecting America from college professors. LOL!
