Real-estate tycoon Donald Trump has a new campaign-trail foe: former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina.
On Sunday and Monday, Trump has gone out of his way to trash Fiorina's candidacy, blasting her business record, her electoral prospects, and even how she sounds when she speaks.
"I think that she's got a good line of pitter-patter. But when you listen for more than five minutes, you develop a tremendous headache," Trump said Monday morning on "Fox & Friends."
Trump had a similar line during a Sunday interview on ABC's "This Week."
"She's got a good pitter-patter," Trump observed, according to an ABC transcript, "but if you listen to her for more than five minutes straight, you get a headache."
But Trump has even more aggressively bashed Fiorina's tenure at HP and Lucent, another technology company.
"She did a terrible job at Hewlett-Packard. She did a terrible job at Lucent. I mean, those companies are just a disaster and she destroyed Hewlett-Packard,"

“I think women all over this country heard very clearly what Mr. Trump said,” Fiorina said. (in response to Trump remark)
That smug, self-righteous, hypocritical, clearly practiced line still makes me shudder.
Pitter-patter is more girly and banal. Jibber-jabber hints at the far away, mysterious and exotic. Carl Sandburg could write about pitter-patter, but Rudyard Kipling would take up jibber-jabber.
She looked like Church Lady when she said that.
Her and Rubio looked like they had been given the questions beforehand. Both establishment shrills.
Could use that face to split logs
Dude, I feel the same way about her talking. Too smart by half. Same with Rubio. So full of answers for everything. Too scripted.
In her case too nasal.
All they would need is a heads up on the issue they would be questioned about and they could craft a pretty good generic answer to just about any question dealing with that issue.
I’ve always thought she sounded like everything was well rehearsed, memorized talking points. Just like a politician.
SHe’s also not the political outsider she pretends to be. Worked for McCain in 2006, and was fired, worked for Romney I think, haven’t confirmed that one, ran for senate I think in 2010 and lost big time once her CEO record was brought up...
So she’s been in politics at least 9 years, a lot longer than Cruz has been senator...yeah I know he held other state positions before that...but how many political allies has she already developed among the establishment she obviously is part of?
An that stupid fake smile makes her look like a predator...can’t stand her voice, just plain irritating...
“That smug, self-righteous, hypocritical, clearly practiced line still makes me shudder”.
Your comment is just one of the comments my wife made about her. Some of the others were butting in while others were talking, never cracking a smile and the constant pissed off look on her face when the camera is on her. The self-righteous “I’m smarter than everyone else in the room” attitude. She also said California has not produced a conservative since Reagan.
Hmm, this is ODD isn’t it? It’s almost like Trump wants to win the nomination. Or something.

That is a very damning stat.
If Carly was in fact a talented CEO fired by a sexist board of directors she would have had tons of job offers. However if she was an incompetent destroyer of corporate wealth she would get no job offers.
That is funny and so true. You brought it to mind.
I agree with him, and anyone who examines my posting history can see that the first few times I heard her, I was impressed.
Then I realized that every time thereafter, she repeated the exact same things, word for word.... almost like a robot.
It creeped me out.
Yet even MORE UNREAL IRONY PING!!! (see some of the comments....)
I like it. From “Big Bang”. My favorite is when Sheldon starts explaining what jibber-jabber is and Penny says, “On my gosh Sheldon is going to jibber-jabber about jibber-jabber.”
Back then, it was Compaq & Dell that were the up and comers.
HP wouldn't have purchased Compaq if it was floundering, they bought it because of brand name and sales.
Today, I exclusively by Dell for my business.
I hated that line, too....”I think women all over this country heard very clearly what Mr. Trump said...”
Carly should have taken a different tact. Made a face, shook her hand and fingers in the air, and said, “Who cares? Candidates say all kinds of things about one another in the heat of a campaign. It rolls off me like water off a duck. What I care about is the march of ISIS, the state of our military readiness, the economy, our wide open southern border, our cultural rot, etc.”
If Carly had said that, I would have thought more highly of her, but no, she had to go play the “woman” card.
