The talk in Democratic Party circles is that Barack Obama has told Joe Biden that he is prepared to endorse him for president if, in return, Biden promises to let Obama have a final say in the choice of his vice presidential running mate.
According to these Democratic sources, Biden is mulling over the president’s conditional offer of support.
In addition, there is speculation among top Democratic sources that Obama has another quid pro quo for his endorsement: he wants Biden to choose an African American as his vice presidential running mate.
In this scenario, which Obama has not yet fully explained to Biden, Biden would promise to serve only one term in the White House, after which he would back his vice president to succeed him.
As Biden’s vice president, Obama is said to favor former Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick, a close Obama ally who is the first and only African American to have served as governor of the Bay State.

But, as you know, we are hardly surprised. I think it has been widely recognized around these parts that Obama would eventually set the terms of this election on the Dem side.
I have been predicting for some time that Queen To Be Hillary has to be very nervous about a Joe Biden candidacy since it would have to include the support of Obama. And Obama fights to win. That fight would certainly include a call or two or a hint or two to the Justice Department and a discussion of TS/SCI documents.
Hillary should be nervous right now. If Biden is in then so is the Justice Department.

I guess from now on if we don’t have an African American on the ticket, we’re a racist society - and their % of the population is....oh wait, that’s irrelevant. It’s all about social justice.

What is so important about Obama’s endorsement? Right now his choices are Clinton and Sanders. Is he going to endorse either one of those two? Biden doesn’t need his endorsement. If Biden has a decent bone in his body he will not accept obama’s terms.
Well, if true I would be really really surprised. Not that Obama would suggest such a thing, but that Joe Biden would agree. Unless he’s been mainlining the kool-aide these past 8 years. In which case, then the plan is for Joe to win and resign a year in.
But I’m guessing the story is speculative and disinformation to discredit Joe Biden. The story does come from a known gossip monger and fabricator.
This is starting to remind me of Alabama politics when I was growing up. In the election for governor, the most important race...the only one that mattered...was the democrat primary. Once a candidate won that, he was a shoe in, as the general election was hardly a contest.
Now on the national level, we have a GOP that will stop at nothing to push the likes of Jeb, Romney, McCain.
I’m sure, from a Democrat point of view, the general election is an afterthought. And frankly the primary process is all for show, with super-delegates able to veto the will of rat voters. So Barry gets to be kingmaker. Funny that even Barry knows what a clown Biden is, and will force him on us for one term though.
I thought that Klein has historically been tight with the Clinton crowd for his political dirt. This story could just be Clintonian-fed psy-ops seeking to tarnish old Joe before he gets in the race?!
I think Obama’s talk about a Biden presidency is a smokescreen. Obama plans to nuke the U.S., or kill us all with an EMP.

Sweet Jesus, I’d almost be willing to chew off a limb in order to watch Deval Patrick debate Ben Carson, if Trump were the nominee.
From time to time, I am able to listen to The Kuhner Report podcast on YouTube and am well acquainted with the debacle that was Deval Patrick’s DHS and how it has “lost” children and how many were found dead under its care. One case in particular involved a toddler African American boy who was finally found dead in a suitcase, if memory serves me.
He’d be debating a man who did nothing but save the lives of children.
Yep, I’d chew off a limb for that one.
