Republican presidential hopeful Carly Fiorina has been an outspoken opponent of Iran on the campaign trail, but during her time as CEO of Hewlett-Packard, it appears as if she was singing an entirely different tune.
Fiorina often calls for keeping the crippling economic sanctions on Tehran and routinely criticizes President Obama's Iran deal, however, under her leadership at Hewlett-Packard from 1999 to 2005, the company sold hundreds of millions of dollars of printers and other computer products to Iran through a foreign subsidiary, despite U.S. export sanctions prohibiting such deals, according to a Bloomberg report.
She was able to thwart the sanctions by using intermediary companies in Europe and the Middle East, allowing H.P. to dominate the market in Iran, so much so that by 2007, H.P. printers were a best selling item with 41 percent of the market share, according to the Boston Globe.
A 1997 agreement with the Indian-owned and Dubai-based Redington Gulf was key to H.P.'s success in Iran, the Globe first reported.
Fiorina was leading this effort in Iran despite two executive orders issued in 1995 by former President Bill Clinton which banned all U.S. companies from exporting to Iran. "If H.P. executives knew about what the Dubai-based distributer was doing, they would have been breaking U.S. law," writes Bloomberg's Josh Rogin.
When the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission began an investigation into H.P.'s activities in Iran, the company admitted it had sold $120 million dollars worth of products to Redington Gulf, but said they did not violate the sanctions law because H.P.'s products were distributed in Iran by a foreign subsidiary based in the Netherlands. H.P. cut ties with Redington Gulf soon after.

Ahhhhhh. No wonder the Men Seeking Men mediums are all Lady Gaga over Carly. They already know how they are going to destroy her once they get her nominated.
wow...that’s biggie....worse than her killing hp...but just a little bit
I think Carly is going to have a lot of baggage. She needs to be vetter more.
Carly’s like a prickly tumbleweed bouncing and dancing in the middle of the road. It captures the attention until it scatters off away and back into the dry brush until the next one comes along.
Carly was there.

The woman is a disaster with a slick talking pie hole.
Wake up people.
I didn’t know about the HP Russian Bribery scandal that happened under Fio-RINO. Thanks for the link.
I wonder if she knew. I’m not a Carly supporter, but international sales people are sketchy at best.
that helps explain why this happened:
CEO Fiorina delivered a speech on Sept. 26, 2001 entitled "Technology, Business and Our Way of Life: What's Next" in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It was then that Fiorina made clear that she rated the Islamic world as "a civilization that was the greatest in the world."
Nicki Haley would be much better than Carly as the VP nominee. Both as an individual and providing a balanced ticket. The most balanced GOP ticket would be Kasich/Haley.

Indeed...on the back of 9/11 :(
Here’s the speech, read it and see for yourself....

Let’s compare Carly to Scott Walker. Her bad fortunes with HP and defeat to Box of Rocks plus her past praises of Hillary make her a target rich enviroment for leftist attacks.
Walker has fought, withstood and won against heavy leftist assaults and has brought a small modicum of success to WI. Their persona styles are quite opposite but Walker should be far above her in the polls just based on substance alone. Yappy Carly is a far better snapper of the mouth getting attention vs Walker.
Good link, thanks for that Jane.
What I find disturbing is the virulent anti-Trump trolls who are so desperate to find something, ANYthing, to try and smear him with, that they overlook (either deliberately or through ignorance) the very same or similar comments, practices or beliefs that other candidates for office have expressed.
The fact is, each and every person who believes in Islam is tragically deluded, it is presented as a ‘great religion’ when in fact it IS a demonic death cult, intolerant in every way, violent at it’s core, truly it is more of a political ideology than a spiritual philosophy. But that does not mean that every single adherent is a terrorist, a rapist or a murderer. Some Muslims ARE in fact honorable and decent human beings who need us to PRAY for them, to see the error of their ways, as I said already today, for us to “hate the sin but love the sinner”.
Any one trick pony (or mule) can parrot Trump saying that Muslims are ‘great people’ and twist that into something more than it is, Trump is not judging Muslims, but you can be sure he would be quick to drop the hammer on any CRIMINAL or TERRORIST Muslims, you can take that to the bank.
In the case of Carly FioRINO, she has gone far beyond saying ‘Muslims are great people’ and has sought to elevate their culture over and above our own. She shows every sign of being an actual collaborator with a terrorist state (Iran) based on her past performance while running Hewlett Packard into the ground.
Carly FioRINO is a company wrecker.
Donald Trump is a world class *deal* maker.
BIG DIFFERENCE.
Chris Wallace grills Snarly on HP sales to Iran....Snarly claims she didn’t know what was going on?!?
http://www.mediaite.com/tv/chris-wallace-grills-carly-fiorina-on-doing-business-with-iran/
Just like Hillary knew nothing about her private email server.
Snarly is Hellary’s doppelganger :)
If she knew about it she is guilty!
If she did not know she is incompetent!
Needs a thread of its own so more people will see it!
