Its unusual to fire a CEO doing a great job regardless of board politics
HP revenue went up because she bought a Compaq which was a failure in itself
Profit went down decline revenue going up and the workforce slashed ....the latter causing issues
She had the reputation as very caustic and ambitious and not liked or respected and if you lose money then youre done
She lasted longer than she should because shes a girl
HP stock went up 7-10% on news of her firing”
Carly HAS no reputation left in the business world. And in regards to national elections, she couldn’t get arrested : )
I agree with your comments, even her lack of arrest. LOL
She worked her magic, and stayed on for (I believe it was) four years.
During that four years her magic didn’t work. Then to hear her tell it, the day she left it all of a sudden started to work.
Thus, her magic was responsible for the rise in stock value even when it wouldn’t budge while she was still in charge.
It’s comical to watch her team spin this.
“Her actions brought on success.” None the less, mysteriously that success never showed up on her watch.
Bring in a new team and of course, “Carly’s actions suddenly kick in.”
What her supporters can’t answer is this. If she was so good, and everyone including those who followed her in leadership think so, why wasn’t she hired on to work the same magic for another firm?
Well?
Your crazy. And I am sure you have no idea what you are saying. She was CEO for 5+ years, amazing at HP. She lost a board fight on how the company should be run. She had the same experience as Lee Iaccoca at Ford or Michael Eisner at Disney.
Your attacks on Carly are blatant mudslinging. I doubt you even believe what you are saying. For some reason you are afraid of her. Probably you are just a Trump patsy.
