Regardless of the kids intentions, the incident and coverage is telling people to not act like we’re suspicious when we see something that looks like a bomb, especially if being carried by a Muslim. And also that Muslims (at least kids) don’t have to cooperate with authorities when asked their intentions. That can only help future terrorists.
