The latest outrage being used to promote the false narrative about unfair treatment of Muslims is the teenager, Ahmed Mohamed, in Irving Texas arrested for bringing a homemade clock to school. If you just skimmed the surface and saw the picture of the skinny nerd in the NASA t-shirt in handcuffs it would be easy to see a problem.
And there is one, but its not discrimination against a Muslim kid that wouldnt have happened to a non-Muslim. Its nanny state, zero tolerance policies that take away the ability to apply common sense to complicated situations. In this case, whether or not to put cuffs on a 14 year old when he brings something to school that causes questions to be asked..
But as far as the other question, was the clock device he brought to school a legitimate cause for concern, the answer is an unequivocal yes. I have built and taught classes on improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and the clock he brought to school is a dead ringer for the trigger used on many of these homemade bombs.

One man’s clock is another man’s bomb trigger.
I tell you, looking at that thing it makes me wonder if this kid really was trying to make a bomb or a prototype of a bomb. I mean seriously, a “clock” in a suitcase? I like to see how eager Obummer would be to hold that in his hands before all this happened. “President Obama, here is a Muslim student who wants you to check out his clock”
Would his home computer stand up to an FBI looksie?
If this were 1971, I could see using parts this big to make a clock.
But this is 2015, and we have electronics now that we could only dream about back then.
This smells like a CAIR produced set-up.
Any kid who would take the area of a briefcase to make a clock today is really not all that bright.
Then to bring it school, ticking all over the place, takes a special kind of stupid.
How many teachers at that level would know the difference between the makings of a bomb and a box full of wires, a battery, circuit board and what could be a timer?
It would have never made the press, had the kid been white.
Teachers at that level? Zero.
He did not build a clock.
He put the internals of a clock in a briefcase like box and attached wires. This is very similar to a timer for a bomb.
This is is an attempt to support the false narrative of Muslims as victims.
And Obama is involved.
Will Obama let this kid walk straight into the White House, or will he be so racist and Islamophobic that he’ll make him enter via the usual visitor screening with metal detectors, explosive sniffing, and baggage X-rays?
Add to the fact that his father is a muslim “activist” and you have the makings of an incident designed to create animosity just so they can say, “Oh look, they’re hating on muslims agian.”
This terrorist in training who perpetrated this test run to aseess our readiness would never have been INSTANTLY invited to the White Hut had he been white.
Because you know, Bath House Barry the Closeted Kenyan does not invite white people to the White Hut.
Unless of course the pope is coming. Then he invites the trannies.
Gee, so much extra room in that innocuous briefcase for the “clock”.
One could fit lots of plastic .... toys! That’s it, toys!
The more I think about this the more I get a bad feeling that this was a desensitizing trial run. The kid makes a 'clock' that deliberately gives an impression that is bomb-like to an average person. CAIR and the Islamo-WH are instantly on the case [cf. youtube video and Benghazi 'riots'] and make a huge fuss over how the kid was mistreated.
What might the goal be? What will be a school's reaction to the next kid who brings in such a 'clock' now that they've seen that the WH might come down on them? Well, we've imported tens of thousands of little Achmeds. What will be the reaction when they all show up with 'clocks'? What if even one of the clocks goes boom?
Wow I didn’t know his daddy-o was an activist. If so yes, this smells like a setup. I mean why is he using a suitcase? Why not make it look like a clock?
Maybe this kid will bring an IED I mean home made clock to the whitehouse with him. If it explodes then oops!
I guess Obama does not see the irony of him using school shootings to try and destroy the second Amendment and his honoring a kid that smuggled a triggering device into a school with a trip to the White House........
Really.
It's not a suitcase.
It's what is called a pencil box, and is about as wide across as a large felt tip pen (plus some wiggle room on either end) long.
