Portland artist uses menstrual blood to paint portrait of Donald Trump

A Portland artist is sending one bold message to Donald Trump and she's using her own blood to do it.

Sarah Levy painted a portrait of the Republican presidential candidate using her menstrual blood.

Levy tells FOX 12 it’s all in response to a controversial comment trump made about FOX debate moderator Megyn Kelly.

Following the Republican presidential debate on Fox News, Trump said of moderator Kelly: "You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes. Blood coming out of her wherever."

Levy says if trump thinks he can bring up a woman's period to insult their intelligence, he should think again.

“Woman are totally capable when they are on their period and that shouldn’t even be an issue,” said Levy. "That just needs to be called out, especially when he’s running to be the President of the United States.”
