Rabbi Menachem Margolin is the director general of the Rabbinical Centre of Europe and the European Jewish Association, the largest federation of Jewish organizations and communities in Europe.
Last month Margolin called for European Jews to arm themselves.
Asking for law enforcement protection for European Jewish institutions, Margolin said institutes not protected should work to secure themselves with armed guards.
“This is a very dangerous situation,” he said.
“It is clear that it is the obligation of each European government to make sure that each Jewish institution will be secured.
He said his weapons proposal only applied to “a country (that) is … unable to ensure that its security will be able to protect the Jewish institutions for the long term.”
“What we ask is that each Jewish community will choose a few people that their responsibility will be to protect the institutions and these people will be armed with a gun.”
In the Copenhagen attacks, Margolin said, “The fact is that if not for the first terror attack at the coffee shop, the Danish police wouldn’t have protected the Jewish synagogue.”
Killed in the synagogue attack was 37-year-old Dan Uzan, unarmed and standing guard outside the synagogue entrance to check attendees coming in for a boy’s Bar Mitzvah. At least 80 other people were inside the synagogue during the attack.
Police later killed the shooter, who is also believed responsible for an attack hours earlier at a free speech event at a Denmark café.
“Our demand is clear. Jewish institutions need to be protected. If the local governments are not able to protect each Jewish institution we need to make sure each Jewish institution is protected. ”

How do you arm yourself in Europe? Can you buy and carry guns? If not, it will be much worse to be put in prison for carrying a gun and face more Muslims there than on the street. Best to immigrate now to safer climes.

How absolutely selfish and disgusting. ‘Um like EVERYBODY would like this police protection, why should just ONE grouping of people think they have a RIGHT to be protected by the police.
The Jews do have a choice, Netanyahu has already told European Jews to move to Israel....so they should take him up on that offer if they’re so afraid.
Either that or shut up wanting special protection, we are ALL human, NONE of us is BETTER or more SPECIAL than anyone else, so therefore we all should have police protection.
Stop with the selfishness already.

I heard the other day, that 350,000 people here in the UK do have licenced guns, which I found shocking, didn’t think we’d have even that many armed people.
So that’s a bit comforting, at least they can put up a bit of denfence for us, if it all goes horribly wrong.
Europe is not protecting any of its citizens.

Arming yourself isn’t enough, you got to be willing to use it.
Europe isn’t protecting it’s Christians, either. Or their non-religious. They only protect their Muslims.

The last time the Brits came across the “pond” to live in DC, they burned down the White House and did all sort of improper actions.
That’s why Gen. Andrew Jackson and the “boys” had to spank the British forces in Louisiana, all the way back to England, or what remained of them.
After that, it was the US who came across the pond to save England on several occasions. I’m sure you read about them in a history book.

As for “speaking the same language”. You’ve got to be kidding. I can’t understand half of what is spoken on “Midsommers Murders”, “Vera”, “Whitechapel”, “Gently”, “DI Banks”, etc.
Only good English is by “Morse” and “Rosemary and Thyme”. As for “The Antique Roadshow UK”, I have to use the “caption” option in order to understand anything.
Come across the pond if you want. If you pose as a Syrian, ISIS or Somali, we have free housing, free cheese, free healthcare, EBT cards, and whatever else you want. Just don’t forget to wear burquas and hijabs, jihads, etc.
But, try asking to live in Hollywood, Beverly Hills, in Hillary’s 90 mansions, with Bill Gates and his wife, or in Obama’s Chicago $1 million home that he is not using right now.
