Cronos is not putting forward a false picture of Iran as a beacon of tolerance. Rather, this post has factual information and shows Iran as it is - a country with an established Jewish community. The difference with the Gulf Arab states is a major difference.
The extremism of the Gulf States is distinctive, and is reflected in the ideologies of the groups they fund, such as Al Qaida and ISIS.
Germany, Poland and Russia had established communities ....before WWII as well. That did not mean that they were “friends” with the Jews, it just means they overlooked them for awhile.
Do not ascribe good intentions when they are not warranted.
