Hmmm...if Trump genuinely believes that eminent domain when used by a private individual is a good thing, then I'd hold that against him.

But if Trump is using it merely because it's a tool allowed to him by law, then it's no big deal...it's much like a company avoiding taxes because the law allows it to do so.

I don’t see the difference between the two.

Not really a good argument.

It wasn't just self-interest. He's on record as being pro-Kelo on principle.

The whole “legal” system is corrupt and has been for 100 years-—and is so corrupt now, there is hardly any Bill of Rights left.

That Trump HAS to work inside this evil “system” (which should all be unconstitutional) is not his fault. He is unable to change it—as a businessman. ALL successful people have been virtually using this unconstitutional system which is really a cartel system-—buying off govt officials.

Can’t condemn him for it. He is smart to be able to succeed when the govt. has stacked the deck against Free Market Capitalism and literally force them to buy off officials. He will play their game to win. (Machiavelli would approve and if he is working for the “Good”-—so he can return govt. to Rule of Law-—then, hurray for him.)
