“Keep talking Ben. It’s what you’re good at. “

Keep pandering, Ben. It’s what you’re good at.

Will the Press start saying this is Carson’s Waterloo, or is that only reserved for White Billionaires from New York?

No, I don’t mean Bloomberg?

Hey I want felons to have a job provided they commit no more crimes. I sure don't want them back in prison where I have to pay for their three hots and a cot.

So lets not exclude the convicted felons who show a desire to change.

He’s spot on. If a slew of Giulianis and Pauls targeted urban areas, they’d cease to be Democrat hell holes.

Giuliani saved more black lives with his policing of NYC than Carson ever did as a surgeon.

I wish every major American city were run by a Giuliani. We’d be a better and freer nation. The only trouble with Giuliani is that he really didn’t change NYC’s political culture. It shouldn’t have been possible for a Bloomberg or DeBlasio to have returned to power.

The lesson is that we need a broad, dedicated political bullpen in cities. I don’t know how to get there though.

What are you talking about? Rudy was a miracle worker. Bloomberg went in on his coattails and at least did a decent job.

To expect Rudy or anyone to turn $8M committed Leftists conservative is asking for the superhuman.

One of the things great leaders do is develop a bench. You have to think about succession, if you’re really working for a cause. If you’re just working for yourself, then no.

One of the things that really got me liking Walker wasn’t his government union busting. It was his seeking out, supporting and developing a solid bench. Do you know his lt. governor?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rebecca_Kleefisch

I’ve met her and met her family along with mine. She’s awesome and a true conservative, just like Walker. When Walker’s gone, she’ll be there to carry on the legacy Walker has left.

That’s something Giuliani failed to do. I find that a characteristic of most RINOs. Their cause is themselves. It’s ego driven and they’re generally fiscal, but not social conservatives.

Read up on Kleefisch and you’ll see what I mean. She’s solid, because Walker’s solid. Walker has strengthened conservatism in Wisconsin by allying with and promoting real conservatives to positions of power in the Wisconsin GOP. That’s the kind of man we need in the WH. A legacy builder.

I recall growing up near Buffalo, NY. At one point in time — the ‘60s, I think — the do-gooders came in and revamped the “neglected African-American” areas of time. It was beautiful. For about one year. Five years after the big lib makeover, same ol’ ghettos.

Though a “campaign conservative”, of a vague sort, on immigration now, he’s not only advocated amnesty and virtual open borders in the recent past, but he’s also fully funded by the pro-amnesty GOPe donor crowd.

No, thanks.

Walker has a long history of talking centrist and governing conservatively. He’s done it over and over and over again. He’s proven to do it.

That a thoughtful person would discount that to zero in favor of a candidate who has flipped and flopped all over the place on issues near and dear to conservatives is utterly stupefying.

I’m gobsmacked that so many FReepers give Trump the complete benefit of the doubt because a master marketer promises at some future time to be conservative on immigration...maybe. It’s as if FReepers have never been exposed to deception via advertising.

We just had a 14 year old black kid shoot a 15 year old black kid and that was followed by a small group of people marching in the streets. How does marching in the streets do anything when the same single mothers who are marching have no idea or control of what their teen kids are doing? That march is really just saying “Someone else needs to take care of this violence”.

Walker has been all over the place in this campaign and in the last two years, clearly trying to pander to a) whoever’s asking him a question, b) voters, since he’s been charged to present as a “conservative alternative”, and c) his funders, who are massively pro-amnesty and pro-cheap immigrant labor.

“c” alone is reason not to vote for him, because if we don’t deal with the Leftist Latin invasion, we’ll never have a conservative/constitutional majority on anything else again.

Trump in a minute over Walker.

Somehow, when conservatives don’t “do something” to solve a problem caused by liberals’ “benefits” to the black community because we get called racists when we point out the problem, the cause, and the solution,

we’re “neglecting” them?

It's just infuriating that we'd be accused of that. The bible says that if someone won't work than neither shall he eat. When we throw out the bible and hand out free food and Obama phones, that is the neglect. We should have trusted the bible and not destroyed the family unit with welfare for bastards.

Ah, but that’s the whole point of the “liberal” political movement - rejection of God’s way in favor of “the alternative”.

Liberalism is founded on the words “you will be as gods, knowing good and evil”.

In nine years of alleged lurking you’ve learned nothing. Trump talks, Walker does it. Who cares what a politician says. It’s what they do/have done that counts.

Sorry, I don’t buy Trump’s sale’s pitch. He has not proven to be a conservative. When I shop for a product, service or political candidate I want a proven winner, not some Johnny come lately with big promises and a history of liberalism. Walker is that best candidate.

Walker can talk all he wants, but his history is what counts. He has a long history of tricking Dems, soft pedaling critical issues to mollify LIVs and put the MSM to sleep, winning elections and then governing as a take-no-prisoners conservative. He’s cunning and wise and proven. He’s won three times in four years up against everything the unions and Dems could throw at him. He’s fully vetted, there aren’t any surprises with Walker.

He faced wave after wave of national money and man-power, they came in droves from across the nation to stop Walker. He won and won and won. What more would a FReeper, a real FReeper want?
