Jefferson (and the other Founding Fathers) knew better than to allow anyone who didn’t have a stake in the new country vote. I don’t believe one has to own property (though I would qualify under that criterion); I do believe anyone who is a net “taker” should never be casting ballots (because if you “rob Peter to pay Paul”, you will always have the support of Paul).
10 Commandments is a historical document directly related to our form of government.
Yup.
“Even if it involved me dying earlier than this judge, I would love to be a spectator at his arrival at the Pearly Gates.”
You’d be waiting in the wrong place. The gates of Hell which this guy will see are not pearly.
Time to start serious “judge removals.”
We have the lowest type people running every aspect of this country.. and it’s going to hell fast..
They don’t see that the great country we have been in the past was due to doing things right.. and being a Christian Nation... Under God.
From the Oklahoma Constitution, Article II (Bill of Rights), Section 5 (Public money or property - Use for sectarian purposes) -
“No public money or property shall ever be appropriated, applied, donated, or used, directly or indirectly, for the use, benefit, or support of any sect, church, denomination, or system of religion, or for the use, benefit, or support of any priest, preacher, minister, or other religious teacher or dignitary, or sectarian institution as such.”
Time to start serious judge removals.

Absolutely.
I understand your point, but these judges have not been reined in by the legislators elected by us. These legislators have abandoned their responsibilities and we have not held their feet to the fire.
Unconstitutional on what grounds?
What a #ing asshat.
Okay judge. I’d imagine those ten commandments have been up there for decades.
Here’s your task.
Point to one single bad thing that happened as a result of them being up there, to prove they shouldn’t be there.
Do it or shut the hell up.
Looks Queer.
It will be very hard to move with all those Christians standing there.
Anyone have Judge Prince’s phone number. Perhaps a phone call or two would help him change his mind. Remember Kim Davis defiance landed her in jail. So, someone gave out Judge Bunning’s phone number. Don’t remove this monument, it is a historical document. End of argument~
Where are the Oral Roberts Christians on this matter?
ORU speak-up, your voices need to be heard.
You’d be imagining wrong.
It was authorized in 2009 by the legislature, and put up in 2012.
So, three years, more or less. Hardly decades.
Okay fine.
Then it should be a lot easier.
Please show me one thing that Ten Commandment display caused that was detrimental to the community.
That was the challenge after all.
Seems the OK AG is remiss in not researching history.
As TX Solicitor General, Ted Cruz argued before the SCOTUS to keep the 10 Commandments monument on the TX Capitol grounds. He won!
Why do we need the 10 Commandments in a public park? I don’t need to see it, as it opens the doors to other faiths to do the same.
And they will win. You want to see the tenants of Islam in the park? The Satanic statue that some atheists created? Statues to the founder of Mormonism?
I get my faith from God and Church. Not from some pandering morons trying to buy votes, who could care less what their actions do.
