Maury County, Tennessee is in the heart of the Bible Belt. So it’s understandable why the local church ladies got all shook up when they discovered that school children had been forced to declare, “There is no God but Allah.” Seventh graders at Spring Hill Middle School spent three weeks covering Islam in a Social Studies class – enraging some parents who say the lessons crossed the line into indoctrination and proselytization.
“I am not pleased that my 12-year-old was taught the Islamic conversion prayer,” parent Brandee Porterfield told me. Could you imagine the outcry from liberal activists if the students had been forced to write “Jesus is Lord’?
Joy Ellis was a bit fired up, too. She discovered the Islamic lessons after examining her daughter’s class work. “I was very angry that my child, my Christian child, was made to profess that Allah was the only God,” she told me. According to the lessons, students were instructed to write the “Shahada” – “There is no God but Allah; Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.” Students also learned the five pillars of Islam.
“That was crossing the line between teaching the culture and teaching them the Islamic faith,” Porterfield told me. “This is not teaching. This is indoctrination...”

It is, but who is going to enforce that?
Obama hates and persecutes Christians, we have ample evidence of this.
Who’s going to enforce it? Well as the Republicans control both houses of Congress, surely they could impeach him?
Obama basically is now a dictator, he doesn’t consult Congress, he issues Executive Orders like confetti, he even makes laws on his own eg. the gay marriage one and gets the Supreme Court to rubber stamp that one.
I thought Presidents couldn’t make laws, I thought only Congress could make actual laws. If I’m correct then Obama has acted against your Constitution again.
Why doesn’t Congress impeach him?
Impeachment would necessarily be followed by removal and you need 2/3rds of senators for that. Waiting for 13 democrats to vote yes isn’t happening.
Which is especially wicked. The little children, who can not understand all of this due to being so young. Children taught to trust adults, and being led into the arms of Satan by the False Prophets.
It’s just too upsetting :(
Obama did announce a few years ago:
“America USED to be a Christian nation, but we’re not anymore”
‘Um, of course millions of American Christians were not consulted about this transformation from Christianity to becoming an Anti-Christ nation.
Christians in America now being persecuted and jailed for their Christian beliefs.

The word “Allah” being the only word for God in Arabic is not just my opinion.
Today being 9/11 does not preclude the use of reason, facts, truth, and common sense.
I used to buy into the rhetoric lashing out and calling “Allah” names and insults, until I learned the facts. Islam hijacked God’s title just like the hijackers on 9/11 hijacked the planes.
God does not deserve to be blamed for what they did. Their false religion? Yes.
There are many people who blame God for allowing evil in the world, including evil like what happened on 9/11. But God is not responsible for what they did, even if they claim to do it in His name.
We can agree though that the so-called deity worshipped and served by those hijackers was not and is not the true God.
I am not trying to stir up a debate, or take away from the enormity of loss experienced by many on 9/11. But I cannot ignore this either.
If people respond to 9/11 by converting to Islam, that is horrible. That is the work of the Devil. But if they respond by cursing God and turning away from God, that is just as bad. That is also the work of the Devil.
When people denigrate the Arabic title of God, it does not further the cause of Christianity. Most people who do so are doing so out of ignorance. But the cure for ignorance is to learn the facts.
You need to take the context in mind when you address the meaning of “Allah.”
They didn’t hijack God. They took the name of God and pasted it on a monster and called that Allah.
Context, context, context. Ridiculing “Allah” in the context of fervent jihadist Islamic devotion isn’t ridiculing its pre-Islamic meaning.

Would you say the same about ridiculing God? Ridiculing Jesus?
Is it okay for people in our culture to mock God because a preacher was caught having affairs?
How would you feel to know of some other culture mocking Jesus and saying He teaches His followers to rape, murder, etc. because people claiming to be Christians did these things?
“Allah” has been God’s Arabic title since before Islam AND before Christianity spread to the English speaking world.
Arabic Christians today who are being killed for their faith, having their homes plundered, their children kidnapped, raped and murdered, know Christ through the Gospel and Bible which use God’s Arabic title “Allah”. Many of these people have died because they would not recant.
But you will defend people using vile insults because of “context”?
The context is that people are IGNORANT and need to understand that God is real, there is only one God, he is the God over all of the world including Arab speakers, and He ordained that His title in Arabic is “Allah”. Therefore, if someone does this ignorantly, they need to be corrected through knowledge. If they continue with knowledge, then they will receive God’s judgment because He will not be mocked.
Islamic murderers will be judged severely for their murder AND their reproaching of God.
To insult “Allah” for what the terrorists did is to agree that they do really represent God, which they do not. And it is to make God responsible for their wickedness, which He is not.
Calm down and read yourself and look for the scads of straw men you have scattered in there, in your rage.
Then revisit the subject.
There isn’t a valid analogy here. Sorry there just isn’t.

If you are ultra sensitive about it... then use scare quotes around “Allah.” But otherwise grow a skin already.
