You both speak out of ignorance. I know Steve Deace, and he is strongly opposed to illegal immigration. He’s enthusiastically endorsed Ted Cruz, FWIW.
Plenty more commenters on this thread have no idea who Deace is or what he stands for, or even what he means here. Won’t stop them from canned comments though.

Ted Cruz is weak on illegal immigration. Ted Cruz will allow legalizing illegals and he will say “no pathway to citizenship” but he knows full well that if illegals are legalized that will lead to citizenship. Only Trump get immigration right. Anyone not for Trump is encouraging allowing illegal immigration.
If you don’t lockstep on everything especially during the latest politician of the week then you get bashed. It’s always that way. A few years a go if you criticized Beck you’d be crucified. Now he is on the bad side. Doesn’t take much to go on the naughty list around here.
